Plot : Mother India is a 1957 Indian epic drama film, directed by Mehboob Khan and starring Nargis, Sunil Dutt, Rajendra Kumar, and Raaj Kumar. It is the story of a poverty-stricken village woman named Radha (Nargis), who in the absence of her husband, struggles to raise her sons and survive against a cunning money-lender amidst many troubles. Despite her hardships, she sets a goddess-like moral example of an ideal Indian woman.

इस फिल्म को देख कर एक बात समझ आई कि एक वह जमाना था जब भाई भाई के लिए जान तक देने तो तैयार था और एक आज का जमाना है जब एक भाई दूसरे भाई के खून का प्यासा है और पहले घर परिवार में कितनी बड़ी बड़ी कहा सुनी हो जाती थी लेकिन फिर भी लोग एक दूसरे का बुरा नहीं सोचते थे और बड़ों का सम्मान करते और आज जरा सी बातों पर रिश्ते टूट जाते हैं.... लोग एक दूसरे को ऐसे भूल जाते हैं कि जैसे एक दूसरे को कभी जाने ही ना हो 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Watching this movie in 2023 almost 70 years have gone by since this movie had been released .It makes me want to go into the past and live that kind of life soo badly. Soo many things have changed in these past 66 yrs the ppl in the past were more loyal had more respect and more importantly ppl were honest had ethics and morals. Loved this masterpiece ❤❤

Being British born we know deep down we dont belong here. Like tigers and lions born in captivity.. Not shy to say every time ive been to India i cry on the flight back. Even when ive been to other places as good as the food is after a few day i need some daal chawal and papad

Indeed this was probably the only Indian film which genuinely raised the difficulties faced by our farmers, but the unnecessary demeaning of Hindu gurukuls and Pandits was absolutely not required.
