Don't get me wrong, I love the color but the lighting? The warm light creeping around the edges of their faces sets such a good tone for this. Idk it's like an offputting spiritual array or something in there. It's so good!

It's been 14 years and Mother Knows Best still goes hard as fuck. This whole animatic was so cool and I was curious how it would fit until I remembered how much Jun Wu plays into being a father figure to XL. Everything from the transformation at 1:12 to the end just had me transfixed and impressed with the simple yet powerful choices that facial expressions and lighting can be. 10 out of ten, loved this and it is going in my favorties for later.
