Everyone thinks they're from Vancouver but they aren't at all.. A lot of their songs that mention "getting away from the city" and things are actually talking about going home to their quaint little island hometown.

wrong again bud...Victoria is on Vancouver Island. But the city of Vancouver isn't an island or on an Island. And anyways the band is from Quadra Island originally.
