Mother of Dylan Rounds speaks out after officials find skeletal remains

After nearly two years, the Box Elder County Sheriff's Office said it recovered skeletal remains in a remote part of the county that are believed to be Dylan Rounds.

Does closure really exist? Yes, they can lay him to rest, but there’s no such thing as closure. The pain of Dylan’s loss will affect his family forever.

Breaks my heart. He sounded like a great kid who was going to do great things. I feel its rare today to have a young person want to be a farmer and its what the world needed. Senseless for him to be taken away so soon. I dont k ow if the person who did this wanted to take over Dylans life or what but Dylan was loved so much that there was no way he was ever going to get away with it. So glad he was found and he can now rest.

I have been so upset since I first became aware of this young man's disappearance. He knew his path in life early on and worked hard for it. That is rare and admirable. My deepest condolences to the family.

I believe Brenner got upset because Dylan called him to open the gate , and it was raining! They said many times that Brenner was always commenting about Dylan was spoiled etc. He got mad about having to get out in the rain

I am glad the family is getting some closure. I feel bad for other families in the area that have cases with no coverage and nothing happens. I want to know what was going on with local law enforcement did they just not want to investigate, was the criminal connected, did the police like the criminal?

What? Why are so many people criticizing law enforcement. They investigated and the old guy was in prison already for aggravated murder. The only missing piece was the location of the body, which they finally got.

I'm so sorry that you had to wait so long to get Dylan finally home. He just looked like a nice clean cut fine young man. I shed some tears over Dylan and his mom and dad, and many times I asked why does a fine young man like Dylan has to leave this earth so early. RIP Dylan.
