Angeline Omina, mother to Sharon Mitekwa, one of the girls involved in the twins saga has broken her silence on the matter. In an interview with Citizen TV, Angeline says that no matter the outcome of the DNA results, she will be glad to continue playing her role as a mother to Sharon and her siblings.

I can't watch this story without tears so painful but am I super proud of these 2 wise women. They have done a really great job of raising their girls. I also admire their wisdom in how they've decided they are going to raise these girls as one family moving . I pray they all get along and may God continue to bless them.

obvious a careless nurse took the dark girl and gave her to this woman....and have the brown skinned "twined" ....she is in no way a twin to the dark skin....the two dark skinned girls need no DNA they are twins....they are just a testimony of carelessness in hospitals....i shudder to think what might have transpired if the brown skinned one died....poor woman would have lost the baby she raised and got no closure as well....both parents need to sue the state on this

Am a Ugandan, but I first read this story in Bukedde news papers of Uganda,then I checked on KZfaq and found it also.Let me try to be a judge for today,the black girls are twins its true ,but the brown one is not a twin belongs to the lady who raised Sharon because this brown girl look alike with the brown mother,the nurses might have made a mistake when the babies where in nursary.Anyway, lets wait the DNA results.
