I discovered Allie's busking videos a couple of months ago and, like yourselves, I pretty much think she is the greatest thing since sliced bread. Even though I don't get all those people walking by as she sings, I take heart in the fact that most of those people will lie about stopping to hear her when, in ten years, she'll probably be the biggest star on the planet.

If you gals want to hear Allie singing with real power and with real emotion, you need to check out her covers of "A Million Dreams" from Greatest Showman and also "Dancing On My Own," the one with David Owens accompanying her on piano. They really highlight what she is capable of doing with that fantastic voice of hers. You will be blown away, I promise. Also check out her cover of Christina Perri's "Jar of Hearts," which she sang with David Owens on piano the same day.

As someone who has been following Allie since she was 12yrs old, I going to suggest some more for you, "Perfect " with David on Allies 13th birthday, "Hello " when she was 13 with David, "Turning Tables " with David, "When we were Young ","Million years Ago " and a personal favourite of mine "Make you feel my Love " Allie has also written some great songs the one about her Mum is "Cant Breathe " os very revealing.the street version is better than the one off Allies album.

The best 'Billie Jean' is the one where John is nearest the camera. You get his rhythm guitar very strongly. I prefer it to the one which has 50 million views or whatever.

Just happened upon this, I had seen it before. Both Allie, it's a good name, love the name ;-) and Fabio do a great job. Dionne Warwick, the original singer who made this Burt Bacharach song famous, and aunt of Whitney Houston sing would be proud. She and Cuan also she and her buddy Saibh are excellent when busking. I remember when I was a little girl, this song came out and I had to get the music so I could play it on piano. I live in Newfoundland Canada and since this pandemic, have watched many artists on KZfaq. Another excellent KZfaq video she did a great job on was the old Gloria Gaynor disco song "I will survive" think that she did this busking on 2 occasions one with Fabio, looked like her first time and the next time with a band, who were also busking in Dublin.

One day the people walking by will be paying 100 Euros to see her on a sold out world tour. And the people stopping and listening will be telling their kids they used to go to Grafton Street for a free Allie Sherlock concert every weekend and the kids will be like OMG no way that’s insane you are so cool

Firstly you two are a hoot! BTW Allie toured with One Direction fall of 2019. She also works with Ryan Tedder...he seems to be a bit of a mentor,writing partner and believe she signed a contract of some sort with him.

His name is pronounced Coo-an, and, yes, he is a classically trained singer since the age of 4 and is now 18. I think the sound you were referring to is the vocal break technique, or cry, tear that Allie employs some times - it seems to be a Marmite situation: some people love it, some people hate it. It can be very effective to convey emotion, but she overdoes it sometimes - she is still very young, only 15, so with the talent and training she has she will no doubt learn to use it to great effect. Yes, Allie and Cuan are Irish - Allie lives in Cork city, southwest, and Cuan lives in Sligo, northwest, these days, and they meet up at the weekends to busk with their friends, mainly, on Grafton Street in Dublin city centre. Due to that video you watched, Cuan has been invited to play Prince Charming in an online panto - for details see pantolive.com/ . Playlist of TV Interviews - if you want to learn more about her. Includes her appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show. Playlist of Allie recording with Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic and Patriot records. And, under Albums and Singles, check out her EP "A Part Of Me" which she created with help from a bunch of her busker friends earlier this year. Allie will keep you busy for a long, she is one serious grafter. Ireland has been in another total lock down since Oct 22 for 6 weeks, another couple of weeks to go. The Dublin buskers have all had their licences suspended, but no-one knows at the moment when they may be allowed to resume busking again (the new videos being posted were all recorded prior to the start of the second lock down). So, who knows when you will be able to see her on Grafton street again. There are a couple of Instagram/Facebook Lives posted on YT channel Best Of Allie Sherlock (her dad posts them) where she and her Dad answer questions and she sings and plays a few tunes. Really liked the reaction video. I've been following Allie for years, found her one day on KZfaq and that was it - I will be a lifelong fan - I predict that the US will go absolutely bananas when and if she finally decides to go on a US tour - there is no one like her - I compare her to Amy Winehouse in certain ways.

Most of their busking takes place in Grafton St, near Trinity College, which is probably the busiest shopping street in the country. Cuan is pronounced cooan, age 17. The other girl I think you are referring to is Saibh Skelly age 16, pronounced syve (like hive).
