When my mom was still here on earth...we spoiled her on this day. She wasn't a fragrance person, but she loved fashion and flowers...I miss her so much 😢... but I still have my Aunt ❤❤

My mother wasn't a fragrance lover. I too must have been adopted! But for her memorial service I'll wear Lionora because that is her middle name spelled Leonora. Everday is mother's day for all women who embrace the role of what mothers are. Enjoy every moment with your mother while you can.❤

Thank you Sharida! My Mother went on to Glory 🙏🏾🙏🏾 Mother's Day we all went all out for her on that day. She wasn't into fragrances . We cooked and brought her outfit. She was the showcase that day .

My mom loved fragrances and I always gifted her perfumes, until one day, when her memory started failing, I gave her a bottle of her favorite Chanel # 5 and she took it and asked me if she smelled, I said no, and she said well you are always buying me perfumes….from that date forward I gave her flowers and chocolates which she loved……RIP momma ❤️

I love Strawberry Letter, there is nothing dirty about it on me. It’s a clean juicy strawberry scent. I’ve had pear granita in my cart for months, I think I’ll get it this week.

Hi Sharida! Happy upcoming Mother’s Day and thanks for your suggestions. Well, I blind bought Donna Karan Cashmere & Palo Santo based on your recommendation. I took a chance knowing that peach is not a favorite note, although I love white peach. There is a big difference in smell with the actual fruit and in fragrance. I wasn’t sure about the palo santo either because someone said it reminded them of a hamster cage and I must admit that I got a hint of that when I tested the fragrance in the house. I wore this fragrance layered with YSL Caban to work and it was pretty good. I prefer sandalwood over palo santo. I too, am in a family with mostly women after losing my one and only son and father. I got my mom Tilia by marc antoine barrois and girl. She LOVES it. It is such a beautiful summer floral. It is so modern and easy to understand and performs! It lasts and has amazing projection and sillage. It was a bit of a risk getting someone else a perfume, but it was a huge reward because she can't stop talking about it.

My mom loves MFK Baccarat Rouge and she has her eyes on the extrait. I’m going to have my brother buy her that one because she wants the large size! 😂 I love all your recommendations! I am in love with the Donna Karan Cashmere Palo Santo. It gives me Silk Santal without the nectarine fruity smell but that dry down is the same to my nose and I LOVE it! My bottle looks like yours cuz I use that one. Got my back up bottle too!

I received the Celine discovery set a few weeks ago and I’m really enjoying it. The blending is exquisite and imo the bottles are priced reasonably for a luxury line. I wish the fragrances projected a bit better but they don’t even seem to be constructed for that effect.

@@SharidaM Sebastian (The Perfume Guy) stated that Black Tie is being discontinued. I’m still familiarizing myself with the fragrances and finding enjoyment in each so I’m not sure I have favorites yet. However if I had to pull the trigger on one at the moment it’d be Reptile. The name is cool and it would really have a unique place in my rotation. I typically loath leather scents but Celine really did the smooth suede very well compared to what typically comes off as a rough synthetic accord that I really don’t vibe with. That being said it really doesn’t come off leathery lol. It’s very unique and apparently refined. Parade’s sparkling bergamot, bright neroli and clean musk is very appealing. I can easily see why it made your list. Plus that bottle tho

My mom stopped wear perfume years ago because of allergies. Even when I visit my parent’s house. I don’t wear anything. However she still have an old unfinished bottle of “beautiful” and some other old fragrance I don’t know the name of but Beautiful was her signature scent until she became allergic.

I never know what fragrance my mom will like! She surprisingly asked me for the Delina Body Creme for Christmas because my sister always wears Delina around her. I was like WHAT?! YOU LIKE DELINA!?! You just never know with her. Think I will be getting her a bottle of the perfume for Mother’s Day this year.

@@SharidaM My mom is that mom that wouldn’t buy herself a fragrance because she feels guilty about spending money on herself, so I get her one whenever I can. She has definitely surprised me with the ones she likes best because they’re usually niche or well blended designer. I wore Oud Jaune Intense last time I saw her and it stopped her on her tracks. Needless to say I want to get her something along those lines.

Sharida has been such a great resource of fruity floral fragrances which is my likely my favorite genre. One that is very similar to Oud Jaune Intense is Y’lang Nosy Be by Perris Monte Carlo. It’s one of the best tropical fruity florals that I’ve come across. It’s economically priced for a niche fragrance while smelling far more expensive than it really is. It’s very rich for a fragrance that can work in the heat and it’s such a transportive experiences. On my skin at least, Y’lang Nosy Be lasts longer and projects better than Oud Jaune Intense. @@SharidaM unfortunately my Mother does not appreciate fragrance she just always wears Pure Grace by Philosophy. Surprisingly, I was wearing Kiss Me Intense and she complimented that she really liked how it smelled on me. That one is a really nice Ylang and Heliotrope (one of my favorite notes) fragrance. I wasn’t confident that she’d wear it personally so I bought her a gift on Etsy lol.

When my mom was still on earth, she wore one perfume: Alyssa Ashley Musk. I promise you, she sprayed it 15x and she KNEW (in her head) that no one was smelling better than her!😂🤣 I have a bottle that I spray just to be in the moment and in her honor.

OMG! Sharida you don't like Bal D;Afrique either? I can't stand that fragrance. I thought was the plum. I tried the Sospiro fragrance that smells like Bal D'Afrique and I didn't like that one either and there was no plum. It's a pretty fragrance, but I don't like it.
