Oh goodness. I tried to like it but the reading and the accent trying is too much for me. Sorry sounded like it could be a good story, the narration needs help

I like, how the narrator changes the voices but she read like, she is drunken. I will need a few times a break. I can't listen to long to that

I sped it up to 1.25 on playback speed and it helped a LOT.

With speed adjusted to 1.25 great improvement. As with all the Kappes series I am a fan. Narrator doesn’t bother me. If she did I wouldn’t listen. Being Canadian the accent doesn’t bother me. American accents have always appealed to me. I guess to the American ear it could be annoying. Keep listening

I don't know where she gets t the information about a cake walk, but none I have witnessed have been musical chairs. All the ones I've participated in consisted of squares tape on the gym floor each numbered. One contestant per square. Music plays and everyone walks, the music stops, each player stops on a square. A number is drawn from a hat to determine the winner. Pure luck and no skills required. 😉👍💖

OH! I was a teacher for years and we did it with musical chairs. SO fun in the south! You should try it.
