Great review as always. I wear MFK Baccarat Rouge Extrait and I have the candle as well. I’ve been waiting until Spring to burn it. I have the MFK Oud candle as well. I made the mistake of using it once with my candle warmer in my bedroom and it smelled like Oud for over a week and I’m an Oud lover. It’s been my experience that candle warmers amp up a candles scent by a factor of two or three. I’m still working to build up my Fornasetti collection so thanks again for the review.

Try Salt and Stone Saffron and Cedar candle. It smells more like baccarat than the baccarat official candle.

Byredo is a candle from a fragrance house, no? Maybe it’s no longer in your collection? I recently bought their Tree House candle and it’s nothing like I thought it would be.

love your channel, honestly, it relaxes me. so thank you! After seeing your video on diptyque candles and their wax of choice i started to read all the labels for every candle that I currently own. So I recently finished the La Trouverie by MFK and i know they use a blend of mineral and vegetal wax. So here comes my question, why recommend MKF candles and not diptyque candles if they both use a blend of mineral and vegetal wax? Is there, and if there is, what is the difference?

Great question! I always forget to mention I will review any candle if I get enough demand for it. In this case I was getting alot of messages on MFK candles and figured Baccarat Rouge would be a great scent to review since its very popular. I also make it a point to disclose Mineral/Paraffin blends and that I will more than likely use it with my warmer. If only every brand could switch to using vegetal wax with 2 wicks, it would make the world of difference lol.

My only issue with the MFK candle is it doesn't come in a bigger size 😂 I enjoyed it and burned it so fast i actually enjoy 540 much more as a signature home scent than a fragrance
