This would make things far safer. In Singapore, drivers hold most responsibility for incidents involving vehicles like accidents. This kind of thing should also fall under something a driver receiving a licensed vehicle to drive should check for.

Don't think bringing in chewing gum is an offence. Cos we are allowed to Chew gum just not allowed to sell. For shopping above tax limit they will ask for receipts.
