The only thing I really wished they did with this scene js godzilla and mothra like rubbing heads like animals or maybe like mothers climbing on Godzilla or Godzilla stretching his hand out that would’ve been absolutely amazing to see and hell seeing Godzilla cry would’ve given him so much character and simpathy it would’ve shown people that he truly missed mothra and had a depression of sorts

You can definitely see how much Godzilla loves and misses Mothra and how important Mothra is to Godzilla. Godzilla and Mothra have a very very strong bond and connection Godzilla has missed his queen and Mothra has missed her king you can definitely see how much Godzilla means to Mothra and how much Mothra means to Godzilla.

Mothra stepping in to stop the fighting and getting Godzilla and Kong to cooperate was very reminiscent of when she tried to convince Godzilla and Rodan to work together in Ghidorah The Three Headed Monster

Fun fact: This is the first time ever in Godzilla history that both Mothra and Kong are in one movie. Remember the original Toho Kaiju movies not once had a movie that had both Mothra and Kong in it. Now all we need is Kong to meet Rodan and Godzilla might just have the most powerful team ever.
