Casey, you're a magician! It's not just about the amazing things you show us, but also about how you present all the information. There are so many people who also do remarkable things with DaVinci Resolve, but their way of presenting information is... well, quite a bit worse. Thank you for the fantastic video; it took me around two hours to repeat the steps and finally understand what, how, and why works in that specific way.

Again, Casey your tutorial is just in a class by itself. There are very few educators on this platform that can hold a candle to what you’re doing and HOW you’re doing it! Stellar work sir, just stellar! And in case it’s not clear, yes this satisfies your previous request for what is needed in the space. This specific type of content. Clear, simple, and easy to follow. More please. I do have one question about the process and not the result here: Are you live narrating as you’re doing or that’s after the fact narration ?

G'day Casey :) I really get a lot out of your videos, thanks heaps. I'm new to DR and been using it for around five months, but now starting to explore more with fusion, etc, plus adding plug-in's suggested by you :) Do you do trouble shooting videos? For example, at the moment DR won't save; I go to close DR where I'm asked Save Project Changes > Save is selected, however nothing seems to happen and DR stays open. I have a 2023 Mac with plenty of HDD space available, along with 16GB RAM. Cheers mate :)

Thanks! This was a good overview of the the types of animations I could get stated with. I assume for something like that fish, you could draw that in a paint tool or use a graphic file. Trying to "draw" with color panels and masks seems rather cumbersome in Fusion.

Very interesting tutorial. Well done. I have a question: Is there a reason why you don't use the "multi merge node"?
@CaseyFaris
@CaseyFaris 7 ай бұрын
Big reason is you can't tell at a glance of the nodes which layer is on top of what. With individual merge nodes you can look and see exactly how things connect. My brain works better that way.
