- Liver Disease. Heavy drinking can lead to liver problems such as fatty liver, inflammation (alcoholic hepatitis), and cirrhosis, which can be irreversible over time.
- Digestive Problems. Excessive alcohol consumption can cause digestive issues like gastritis, ulcers, and interfere with nutrient absorption while damaging the pancreas (pancreatitis).
- Heart Problems. Alcohol use can result in heart problems, including high blood pressure, enlarged heart, heart failure, and irregular heartbeats like atrial fibrillation.
- Diabetes Complications. Alcohol can disrupt glucose regulation, increasing the risk of low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) in people with diabetes who take insulin or other diabetes medications.

I’m glad I pulled through, despite the crises. I am retiring next yr at 55 with 3 houses paid off worth 4.5 million. One is my place of residence the other 2 properties will give me $80,000per/yr rent . I will have an income stream of $20,000 per mnth through my super which gives me total $240,000 a yr to live comfortably. I have no debts ... Stay Motivated!!

When my father died my siblings started to drink heavy and doing drugs. I stopped and watched them just keep drinking, over and over, more drugs, more booze. I observed and it hit me. Is this what I want from life? is this What happens to me? No, it’s not. Cleaned up

Sugar addiction also destroys your health and mind. Carb addiction is real. Non alcoholic fatty liver disease. Most people don't realize how addicted they are to carbs. I quit alcohol 8 years ago And I also changed my eating habits to low carb high fat, keto, carnivore and it helped my sugar addiction, but I have relapses. A lot of my aches and pains disappeared which makes sense based on science, and lowering inflammation. Sugar and alcohol are the same chemicals, one is fermented. Good luck.

I had a moment today when a family member raged at me and because it upset me even though I remained calm I thought about getting a bottle of wine. Instead I am listening to this video with a bottle of pop Instead to bring ne out of the craving. 🍒

I drank a lot when I went out. Lost the woman I really cared about because of it. I looked at myself and thought, what is my issue here. I do not drink at home.. I will have beer in the fridge and it will go bad from being there so long. I switched to non alcoholic. I love going and seeing friends and such out. I found I just need something in my hand. I will have a shot if someone buys a round. But I found what's in my hand doesn't matter to me if it has alcohol in it or not.. it was quite easy for me. I know everyone's different. It's been 3 months. That same woman has seen my change and we are getting close again. Sometimes losing what really matters to you is what you need to flip that switch.

You're one of those people who can't separate the spiritual wisdom from all the dogma created with the establishment of an organized religion. We should have the freedom to choose. I understand the statistics used and believe the experiences shared by the people in this video are meaningful to them. I’ll agree that alcohol should be illegal. But it’s not and there are those of us that can consume it without losing our spouse, job, friends or keys.

Anything can be addictive!! It's not the substance or we'd all be alcoholics!! Some people have an addictive personality, and they should avoid alcohol and all other intoxicants!! But that's free will and freedom to choose!! We should have the freedom to choose to do dangerous stuff as long as it's not hurting anybody else, and if it does, we already have laws to deal with it. Just because you can't control yourself, don't try to impose this authoritarian reatriction on the rest of us!! Jeez, YOU WOULD THINK that people have finally learned that prohibition DOES NOT WORK, it just creates a black market and more crime!! Wow. It's like you've learned nothing!! Should we outlaw sky diving too because it's very dangerous?? We do a LOT of possibly dangerous things. God gave us the free will to choose, but you wanna legislate it away. Please stop, it's severely misguided..and I agree that alcohol is a nasty, addictive, harmful substance, but only really harmful when abused, like most things. I don't think I should be denied the pleasure of a glass or 2 of a nice wine with dinner because you have an addictive personality and can't control yourself around alcohol. That's a personal problem. Deal with it, don't try to impose your weakness upon a of us, cause most of us CAN control our intake of alcohol.
