It needs a remake ive lissen to original one and thats seriously damaged before i ended here with this qeustionbale version but i need to say the old OG song has this sparkle / sexual flow that makes it a banger. I think only way of finding the original one of (Everyone Knows That) is probaly asking people of a serten age group if somebody has a very old music collection. because thats how i keep finding ather things in life that most people dont look at anymore. Stil maybe a AI software can lissen to the old song and try to fix it up. I dont know but im no expert at this front. Also might need run a lot of 80s a 90s style music true such a AI to maybe get close to the original song style. You absolutely nailed it. Whether or not the original is any similar to this, there's no doubt you captured the 80s vibes in every regard. I'm a bit bummed by all the negativity in the comments; no one's denying the importance of media preservation, but it shouldn't trump artistic interpretation! The word's inspiration, not misdirection. An interpretation of a piece of lost media isn't destructive! Update 4-28-2024: Your version is FAR better than the original, hands down. Good job!

Thank you so much! In all honesty I’ve seen more people confused than being outright negative, but for the most part people like you have been so kind! With any sort of cover/reinterpretation there are always people who won’t see the vision, which is understandable. I initially only made this as an experiment but it sort of blew up! I was kind of inspired by seeing all of the low effort hoaxes and AI extensions, which I feel really do detract from the search. I used to feel super negatively about AI, but using it as a creative tool to shape my voice into something else has also been an eye-opener for me! I think as long as these things are done with nuance and a respect for the source material (as well as proper crediting when the artists are found) it can be fun, and maybe even draw some casual music fans towards the lostwave community.
