I couldn't have found this channel in a better time. I'm looking to buy a new phone and Moto G4/G4 Plus are my favorite options. I spent some time watching reviews and now I can say that your video was the only one who really made my understand the phone. Unfortunately in Brazil prices are sky high, and the gadgets aren't "complete" - while you can't find Moto G4 for less than $380 (16GB internal storage & 2GB RAM), Moto G4 Plus cost around $475 and comes only in the 32GB internal storage & 2GB RAM version. Exactly what happened to me: my LG G4 had the bootloop issue and couldn't be fix, so I picked the G4 Plus and so far I'm pretty happy with it. I miss the camera, though.

Wow that is exactly my situation. My LG G4 got stuck in an infinite boot loop, this bricked the phone. Just ordered the Moto G4 Plus Saturday as a replacement on the low. We'll see how it does.

The sensors that are missing are the IR sensor array, but the ambient sensor should still be there. The ambient sensor is used for automatic brightness control.

Just an FYI - a Z Force is shatter resistant, not scratch resistant. Definitely get a tempered glass protector for it if you want the no scratch look.

Did you see a difference in the G4 and G4Plus displays on your units? I have noticed that the G4 was a bit dimmer and had a brownish cast.

I got this phone in October 2016 and it's been working like a dream!!! I got the G4, my sister later got the G4+ and that too has been working like a dream. it's so worth the price if you're upgrading from the phone we had which was an LG Optimus L90. I found a good case for it on A, it's called Diztronic. the case feels solid with the phone. Flossy's review is spot on. if you are on a budget this is the phone for you. I love this phone so far. In my opinion, it was a great buy.

+Flossy Carter I've had a 5.5" screen before. I didn't like that you need 2 hands to use it. I know I'm in the minority here,but 5 - 5.2" is my ideal range. I do appreciate Samsung for catering to both crowds for screen size.

I had the same scratch issues on my S6 screen when I first bought it, after only a day, and I baby my phones too. I saw your original Moto Z vid and I thought..."hope he slaps some protection on that." it's weird but the older phones seemed less scratch prone than these newer, so-called shatterproof ones. Motos are so innovative and they just work, that's what I like about them, but they are not immune to the same sorts of issues that other high end flagships have. The S6 issue taught me a lesson, to protect all my mobile screens from the get go. Great review as always.

beamed back in for a sec, I mentioned the zmax pro, it's also got some pretty dope features and gestures, for instance, you can set up different finger prints to open different apps from the lock screen... would love to see the Floss review the Zte zmax pro... You can buy the phone then just unlock it to use on your network that's compatible. what's good Floss, love your videos, would love to see your opinion on this phone that don't even whisper cheap... I love watching this guy's reviews. I love how he picks the phone up, then turns it over, and puts it down, only to do it again about 50 times. "That's a major win!" As far as these phones go, the G4+ seems like a direct competitor to the Nexus 5X. But why no NFC? Very strange.

The 2nd Generation version of the Moto G is what I had before I upgraded to a flagship... Even though it's budget priced, I referred to my G2 as a "mid-range" because it had a gyro, compass, and front-facing speakers, in which these particular features are absent in the MG3 and MG4... The Moto Z was my first candidate in a flagship upgrade, but I didn't like the lack of headphone jack, nor was I hip on all those expensive modular add-ons, like with the LG G5... I went with the HTC 10...

Awesome review as always bro! Lookin to buy my mother a phone in this category. After tons of research and prolly ruling out the Sony Xperia C4 (apparently unreliable and poor battery) and Huawei P8 Lite (poor screen brightness, only 720p) I'm torn between the Moto G4 and Alcatel Idol 3 (they are practically same price on this side of the globe). The JBL speakers on the Idol are killer, but priorities for me are camera quality, screen (vibrancy of colors and BRIGHTNESS as it can be incredibly sunny here) and battery life. I think I know your answer already, but please please help me out cos your rec will sway my decision. Thanks a million!

I got the moto 4+, it has a hard time picking up and holding a wifi signal, it notices wifi is available, but then won't connect easily, even when it does connect the signal is weak, does anyone else have this problem, I don't know if I got a bad phone or it Just has poor reception capabilities. how can I tell. please let me know how yours works. as I don't know anyone with this phone. The Shattershield is what stopped me from buying a Moto X Force (Droid Turbo 2 in the US) last year. The scratch test videos were too much. Everything can scratch this screen.
