Motorola is on a launching spree in 2023. The #MotoG84 is the latest phone under Rs 20,000. It is a design focussed phone with Snapdragon 695, which could be a cause of concern for many folks. Anyway, we take a look at the phone.

At the cost of 1 year OS update that too isn't guaranteed most of the time and an old processor , Not hating but criticising if the phone would have atleast like 2 years major Os updated which would be Android 15 ,I wouldn't even care to look at the processor and would be an ez recommendation

@@Sahil-to4wj its better to have no or low updates than regular updates that slow your phone down or even kill it or green line issues.Also updates in android doesnt really matter much. They already have most of it not all ios features anyway. You wont notice much difference from here on. Security updates do matter. Clean ui and software experience. is more important which moto focuses on.

There is no harm in promising, they are eventually not even going to give Android 14 on it. I have G72, and they have not even given 13 on it.

If someone is ok with LCD, G54 is absolutely crazy is priced near to 15k as an G40 Fusion user, seeing the 6000 mAh coming back feels great. Despite LCD+120hz till 55% and battery saver mode for later part, on YT and basic usage, I got 2.5+ days of standby with 14.5-16hrs of SOT, even after 2 years of usage. Also, overnight drainage is almost 0% at battery saver mode, noticed it 2-3 times when I had no option to charge overnight, still my G40 Fusion lasted overnight at 1% and didn't switch off.

Well my g40 fusion screen broke when it fell from 4 feet height and camera performance is utter trash Battery performance is great but i had to still ditch it

#ReadyFor is unable to connect EXTERNAL DISPLAYS in general. rather specifically for PC n Laptop it seems. Please take care of info provided. Especially for such un common features. Hopefully details of the feature and its difference is from that of other phones will be appreciated by atleast some for sure. tyvm.all the best

It offer 12 g ram,a flagship characteristic,optical image stabilisation,video at 60 fps,you can install a 3rd party for always on display,it have micro sd,3,5 mm jack,radio fm,amoled display,etc,etc.And even it have only a major software update,it have 3 years security updates anf firmwares.And because have from hardware OIS it can improve very much the camera thru updates,and EIS too.What smartphone,even flagship can offer all these? I mean all these....for me,sd card,3,5 mm jack and a build in radio fm are very important.

The phone is indeed good. Camera with OIS is what makes it special. But Moto phones come with that annoyingly conspicuous call recording notice.

And moto g84 even has dlna as well ( sharing "standard" video, image and audio files directly to / from other dlna enabled devices via WiFi ) - at least in my region (?) -, which has become a rarity in most other smartphones in recent years for some mysterious reason - especially in this price range. Even most of the very cheap smartphones used to have this very useful feature until a few years ago - so what on Earth happened there? Oh, and it has FM radio as well btw. 😉 PS Do you know by any chance, why so many smartphone manufacturers have been dropping the dlna service (protocol)recently on most of their models ( especially in the cheaper segment )? I do know that it's a very old standard (2003), but it actually works fine, if the files are fairly standard types ( (most) mp4, avi, flv, mp3, jpg, bmp ... ) Not all TVs, that you typically have access to, have Chromecast type devices built-in or attached either. And it's also very nice to be able to stream such media files from your Android smartphone to your PC or laptop monitor, tablet, Android box or projector etc. Is it to save money for some dlna certification license for each item of a model? And does this really mean then, that these non dlna-enabled smartphones can't use this very convenient dlna feature at all, or just that you have to install an app like the brilliant BubbleUpnp, which then contains a dlna protocol?

If you already own G73, I think it's not advisable to upgrade to G84, except you just want a P-OLED display, then you should.

The Moto G84 5G has a big problem. It's a sound. The outgoing volume is quite weak. Low sound power is on the speakers of the phone. Bluetooth and 3.5 jack also have Low sound. It doesn't matter how you connect any device it will play quietly. It doesn't matter via Bluetooth or a 3.5 jack you will need to turn them on almost to the maximum. Standard melodies play loudly. However, if you turn on something from KZfaq or other apps, the volume is -50%. Most likely, the problem is software, but the problem has been around for six months. It seems that Motorola is not going to solve it. There are many negative reviews about this problem on the Internet and the Motorola support site.

I have bought two Moto G52 both have the same Green and Pink multiple line in display. The problem started after 3 days of warranty period is over . I think company is creating this problem intentionally. I am not going to buy any MOTOROLA device future , they are claiming for only one android update and nobody knows when that update will come.

Yeah there is a work around. Installing gcam mod will definitely improve the image quality. I use gcam on my moto g71.

True and that's why in September Motorola Edge 40 NEO will arrive in India. It won't have SD778g but a capable Dimensity chip that supports 4K and also be light and with red Viva Magenta vegan leather finish and get at least 2 OS upgrades (maybe 3?) of course at a higher price tag but not by much.

thanks for this video, it seems to be good phone, but I think , motorola are more expensive than Xiaomi phones, while xiaomi phones have strong build quality and cheaper price than motorola phones.
