100% agree. The Power of a 450 makes me feel safe. Trying to jump a machine that doesn't have power is terrifying.

For me hardest part of motorbike riding is going downhill. And I am saying that as mtb downhiller.

The front is doing 90% of the work going downhill. A DB has twice the tire width but more than six times the weight. A 35lb MTB can be yanked back in line by the rider. When a 230lb dirt bike goes off course, you're just in for the ride. As long as the MTB has enough suspension travel, it will win every time. Add some flat sections and the DB might recover.

I love the comparisons between mtbs and dirt bikes. I’ve been riding mountain bikes for a few years and have gotten pretty good at it on the downhill stuff, and I just got a kx85 this summer. I still have to convince my dad to let me go to a track though. I have to get better at dirt biking though

Right on.... ! I was mountain biking recently as I love to do... and it crossed my mind... how would a dirt bike handle this? My mind went to exactly what happened here in this video.... I am so glad you did this to confirm my thoughts on this... lol I knew it... Great vid.. and as always, great job and thanks for doing it.
