I love the world mx champs because it is where our great sport found its feet, but if there are 10 people on the gate, what's the point.... come on FIM, SURELY YOU CAN PUT MONEY BACK INTO THE SPORT TO GET MORE OF THE BOYS OUT THERE TO FILL THE GATES!

Fully agree, however they only had 18 riders in MXGP and 19 riders in MX2,,why have rounds in these countries if they won’t pay the teams enough to race there? It’s a joke

That's bullshit. 40 riders off the gate in every AMA EVENT THIS YEAR. 250 AND 450. JUST BECAUSE THE SO CALLED WORLD SUPERCROSS HAS GOT SOME RIDERS. WE STILL HAVE 40 OFF THE GATE

Well PRADA JUST MIGHT WIN HIS FIRST 450 MXGP TITLE. HE COMES OVER HERE AND HE WILL NOT WIN A MOTO. LIKE EVERYONE ELSE. A KID NAMED JETT IS THE FASTEST, BEST, AND TOP MOTOCROSS RACER EVER TO BE SEEN IN MOTOCROSS. PRADA CAN'T BEAT SEXTON EITHER. WHERE WAS HE IN THE MXDES NATIONS. AMA always fills their gates because they allow the privateers. It’s sad how the “most prestigious dirt bike championship” can only fill 19 gates. It’s so sad to see where this series has gone from 10 years ago

Indonesia is half way across the world from Europe, gates at European rounds normally have 32-36 competitors.

Why little? Because not all teams have the funds to take part in races outside of Europe, this requires a larger budget. So don't equate

I’m well aware of that but haven’t you heard of wildcard riders?? This is supposed to be the pinnacle of motocross, half the gate at this level is laughable.This isn’t a club race. Have you ever seen an AMA race with over half the gate missing…NO The greedy owners of the FIM need to put some money back so that it encourages the teams to enter out of Europe rounds or really what is the point? I’m sure the racers would prefer a full gate..it’s getting laughable now.

Hey dude we still have 40 riders coming out of the gate at every event in both classes. MXGP just sucks to start with. And another thing that doesn't really matter, but none of the 20 over there can come over here and win a TITLE

First i ve seen AMA MX at Red bud and then this format. 👎 AMA: Full of riders at the start and awesome tracks MXGP: Few riders at the start and tracks (at least here) very shorts. Conclusion: much better see the AMA... I'M sad cause the level riders in the mxgp is very high.
