Imo Driveclub is the most accurate sounding one for this hybrid V12 :), Assetto Corsa is also close aside from that weird straight-cut whine from the interior.

Between FM5 & PC3 for highest fidelity sound, I'd give the nod to PC3 even if it doesn't quite reach the high pitch scream. AC in this case sounds like a pure synthesizer.

A video I’ve been waiting years for! Here’s my detailed opinion: Driveclub engine sounds the most realistic! Inside and outside. Especially inside, their sounds make you actually feel as though you’re inside. Assetto Corsa and Project Cars 3 come quite close inside, but Project Cars 3 sounds like 11,000 RPM and Assetto Corsa has an ear-deafening transmission whine that’s not at all present in the real car. GT Sport and the other games don’t really give you that feel that you’re inside the LaFerrari, regarding their sound. With Driveclub, regarding the outside sounds, I also love how the environment sounds blend in, there seems to be a “wind” noise along with the car, sounds like there’s so much more going on. Assetto Corsa implements that quite well as well, especially if you listen to cars like the 488 GTB, P1, P1 GTR and LaFerrari FXXK. The exhaust crackles and pops from Gran Turismo Sport are the most realistic, especially when downshifting. This is an area where Driveclub, Forza Motorsport 5 and The Crew 2 suffer greatly, sounding very unrealistic or overdone. In terms of the LaFerrari, I believe Forza had their most realistic sound at FM6/FH3, followed by FM5/FH2. I don’t think any Forza game that has come after these have a realistic sound. FH5 sounds amazing, but doesn’t sound realistic. And likewise, Project Cars 2 would’ve fared better than Project Cars 3. The Crew 2, Forza Horizon 4 and NFS Heat do not sound at all realistic to me. They at least do sound like the average V12, which is good. Overall ranking therefore would be (in order from best to last) -> Driveclub, Assetto Corsa, Project Cars 3, Gran Turismo Sport, Forza Motorsport 5, Forza Horizon 5. Then the other three in whatever order.

This is my top 3: 1. Drivecub. This game continues to impress in terms of graphics and audio quality. 2. Assetto Corsa. Gets second *only* because of the obvious synth and the weird shifting sounds. The raw noise itself is the best out of the 3. 3. FH4. Imo this is the closest Forza got to replicating a modern Ferrari’s v12 so far. To me, FH5’s just sounds…..off compared to this one.

Drive club easily beats the rest for best sound. The La Ferrari sounded pretty good in Project cars 2, idk wtf is going on in 3, sounds awful!

Shame assetto corsa they ad trompet/echo effect to exaust sound. Even putting reverb to 0 in the setting still have that "non esthetic" sound when you listen your engine to drive. Others games,is like interior sound in external view.

Drive club has a very accurate low end growl to it but the 'screaming' at high revs isn't quite right. The Crew 2 straight up botched it, sounds more like a turbo 4 cylinder. IMO FM5 has the best rendition of this car.

Gran Turismo Sport is a boring game. The graphics aren't excellent, when playing on PS4, PS4 Slim, Pro or PS5. 338 Cars are only available as of Update 1.66. The Day/Night cycle is not available. In livery editor, body parts are not available. There is no GT Auto in that game. Project CARS 3 is also a boring game. Graphics looks real. 24h day/night cycle is available. But there is no Pit lane, selecting tire compounds, and Qualifying Rounds. Of course, car sounds are pretty awful, such as Ferrari LaFerrari '13 and Porsche 918 Spyder '13 are sounded awful.
