Kenny Roberts! what a guy! himself and Barry Sheene were the Nikki Lauder and James Hunt of the Motorcyle racing world back in their day.

この時代のカメラアングルが見やすくていい。ブレーキング、ターニング、立ち上がりまで良くみえる。最近のMotoGPの中継はアングルの切替が早すぎて見たいところが全然見えない。

Glad to see how things have improved over the yrs as I was at that race but now live in Australia, we have gone past hay bails . The circuit has changes a lot also over the yrs with plenty of run off and a better surface. Sad race as it claimed 2 riders and I remember the delay after was about 1.5 hrs before race 2. It can still happen and sometimes there is nothing that can prevent fatalities like Sic58 in recent times. But it’s still rare.

フレディのスパスパッ！って感じのライディングは非常にカッコいいが、ケニーのウルトラスムーズで一見何もおもろないライデングの方が、ここでは速いってのが凄いね。正に芸術的ライディング。

It was not known till later in the day that the riders had died. I witnessed the crash it was obvious it was bad, it was a massive impact.

前半の動画から続けてみたけれど、地元だけにシーンとロンがよく写されるな。押し掛けの頃からロケットロンはロケットだったんだな。中断中にタバコ吸いながらインタビューに応えるとは如何にもシーンらしい。オイル＆赤旗後にロバーツとローソンのペースが上がったから、その間にチームアゴスティーニのマシン調整が決まったって事か。それにしてもロバーツってホント小柄。他の人よりバイクが大きく見えるあと、この頃は決勝用スペシャルタイヤの供給は決勝上位4台までという感じだな。
