Rukka got lots right with the Kingsley. Better ventilation than the Nivala is welcome, giving a comfort advantage to the Kingsley. Also, it’s great the Kingsley has an AA rating and double-layers of abrasion-resistant material for the elbows, shoulders, knees, etc. In contrast, the Nivala’s single material layer for high-risk zones is disappointing.

I still have my Rukka R-Tech, bought for 330 GBP [reduced from 440 GBP] in 2001. It has never let water in.

Problem is if this jacket develops a problem down the road, your company policy is to make customers pay for return postage (even though consumer law says your responsible for these costs when item is faulty) ....so thanks for the review but my recommendation is buy else where.....warranty manager is very arrogant and rude to deal with also...I had to revert back to the manufacturer to get my issue resolved!

Dane nimbus jacket lyngby air trousers very comparable to this and £1000 cheaper has the outlast liners but not down liners but electric heated jacket and trousers from keis are under £400 and offer heat control.

Bring back stetson lost mine and to go somewhere else - is that an Alfie. What about warmth baselayer R, heated jacket and jacket. I havent worn linings for over 10 years lighter and warmth adjustable. Cheaper minus price of down jacket ? Another detailed OBJECTIVE review unlike some other shops who use this platform to sell products

Difference between Kingsley and Shield R???? They look the same at same price point. I’m in the U.S. and can’t find this Kingsley model but the Shield R is available. Any difference?

GTX cuff on my Armas constantly flowed water into the glove by absorbing water and then sucking down cuff and dripping into glove sleeves 🤦‍♂️
