Ive driven the Diavel V4 and own a XDiavel S. The V4 is no longer a cruiser in any shape or form. Ducati have basically made a heavy V4 Monster. The V4 is a good engine but if that is what you want then get a Streetfighter V4S. The price of the exhaust on the V4 Diavel is outrageous as well and a must buy, because stock it sounds terrible. The XDiavel S on the other hand is absolutely stunning and great fun. Mines got a bunch of Roland Sands parts on it, termi exhaust, mid controls and the fender eliminator and it turns heads everywhere I go, I love the custom performance cruiser look. The 1260 engine sounds amazing with the termis and is a very good performer. Of course its not quite superbike levels of performance, but compared to the competition like Harley Sportster S and Indian Scout 101, it utterly blows them out of the water.

The Diavel V4 does not feel any heavier than the Xdiavel to me when I was riding it. They are very different bikes with the same DNA, but the V4 brings a lot of welcome updates. Except the lack of Ohlins suspension is a big downer.

The v2 is a Monster, in Sport Mode and Electronic control set down and it's insane. The controll that no allow wheelis must be on low setting and in Sport Mode . And the bike wake up und hole shit. And the v2 sounding insane with the Termi. It's a Monster a lion. 🤙 Best regards from Germany

The 1260s are deceptively fast, they just pull and pull and pull in any gear at any rpm. The new V4 is lighter and revs higher so it’ll be faster up top for sure.

I know, I just meant to make sure the comparable 1260S also had the upmap if you were able to do the V4 vs 1260S comparison. The 1260S is more comparable to the V4 in the riding position.

I have a 2022 XD Dark. I put the termi on it with a lithium battery and its much more nimble... i wouldn't trade it for anything but that said, if I had the money, I would get the Diavel V4 Bentley. Now, any chance you can do a comparison video of what may potentially be my next bike (Street FIghter V2 vs V4). Cheers!

Thank you for your comment, that would definitely be a very interesting comparison. We recently picked up a Panigale V2 and after having numerous Panigale V4 models we are definitely impressed with the Panigale V2

I own a 2021 XDiavel S and a 2024 SFV4S. I would have bought the new V4 Diavel but the styling is hideous. For the money, my XDs is more smiles per dollar and for the money, my SFV4S is more smiles per dollar than the V4Diavel.

own the 2022 XDiavel that I bought new in 2023 March along with Termignoni Full System Titanium + Ducabike Clear Clutch etc. in flesh, V4 looks better than in YT videos ... and your answer should make me feel better since I thought my XD looked outdated after I saw the Red V4, but am still not sure, if V2 looks better than V4 ... or if the reverse is true...!! I also have 2022 Hayabusa Gen 3 + Triumph Trident 660 & Scrambler 400X .... and prebooked the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 am jealous of your SFV4S, stunning looking bike Thanks, Regards.

xDiavel is SO MUCH cooler looking than the V4 bloat fish...and now get ahold of the '22-23 Nera edition to compare to the V4 not the OG '16 model and make sure to have the rear Ohlin's upgraded first the stock unit is not great.

Your revs were weak on the Xdiavel, who revs like that 😂 put the bike on sports mode and it’ll wake up the Termignoni exhaust. Also mid controls and quick shifter are an option on the XD which makes the ride much more enjoyable. Not a fan of front forwards.
