A nice simple job, but it makes a big aesthetic difference! This aluminium short front fender from Motone Customs is available in a Brushed or polished finish (I believe a satin black version is due soon)

So happy i subbed to your youtube channel. I have only been looking at parts from Triumph only to discover the large amount of after market already available for spare parts that are ALSO vastly cheaper than what you get from Triumph, I only wish I had subbed to you 2 weeks ago, it would have saved me tons of money T_T

Looks great....especially the powder coating. I have a brushed black Motone front fender to put on that would look better if it was smooth like this one here. The brushing is really coarse and does not go with any other finish on my ST900. I am assuming that the fork brace has threads tapped into it to receive the fender bolts rather than loose nuts that drop off once the fender bolts are removed.

Great video. Quick question, I have a matte black T120 and I want to get the short mudguard from Motone. Is the mudguard close to matte black or gloss black in real ?

The web site would suggest its more of a satin finish? This one was brushed and I had it powdercoated by a local company

Which finish did you purchase? I am looking to add one of these to my street scrambler. One thing I am curious about is whether or not a tkc80 would fit underneath this mudguard...?

But it’s not exactly the same item is it, it’s a cheap copy. It’s easy to buy a part and copy it after someone else has put all the hard work into designing it. Support the businesses that are developing this stuff rather than line the pocket of imitators.

Personally I don't understand people's obsession with fitting short mudguards. If you're using your bike in a variety of weathers you get far more shite thrown up at your engine than you would do with having a longer front mudguard. Style over substance, but hey each to their own.

Just food for thought, 2 years later, generally I agree with you. But unfortunately when Triumph released the street scrambler with its 19" front wheel, they used the same fender, and just raised it. The smaller radius of the fender compared to the silhouette of the tire drives me nuts. I just ordered one of these for that reason. If the fender is short enough the smaller radius isn't noticeable. Go look at pictures and you'll see what I mean.
