Thank you for the clear close up shots and good camera angles and lighting on the power steering damper. Toyota buried this little "designed to fail" part deep inside the steering mechanism and now all of us Toyota owners have to spend hours dealing with a complex tear down just to get at it. If they'd only used a much higher quality material for this part, it would have saved many tens of thousands of Toyota owners so much grief!

Does it need to be removed the ASSY. out first then change the rubber bushing or can may it in the car?

After replacing this damper , do you need to do any reset or basic setting with the computer or do any warning lights some on ?? Or will it be ok / as normal ? I am driving a ahr20 estima hybrid ..Thanks

Yep. Common to mostly all Toyota using EPS.

It can work its way into the electronic motor. If anything RTV sealant and let Dry before driving

Because you need a original damper but not copy version, it is slightly different in thickness

@@matt4398 put some silicone around the bearing to increase the life of it and so you won’t have to redo this job again when it brakes after a few years !

Boleh jer. Cuma bunyi dia annoying la, bunyi yg org panggil kok kok sound. 😁 Makin lama makin lah kuat. Sblm ni mekanik2 cas sampai 2k soh tukar segala bagai benda. Benda ni walhal x sampai 30 hengget kat shopee.
