I want the Scorpio N to get a update like the 700 and with a spacious 3rd row and boot, 10.25 inch touchscreen, new 360 camera with better quality, digital instrument cluster, a rear seat experience like the Innova hycross and of course 7 airbags and ADAS

Hey, I have z8 l Scorpio AT. One issue I have is , when I change the gear from P to D or P to R, there is a big sound / noise that I can hear. This only comes when I change gear at start of vehicle.. Tested it out with another scorpio n too, some say it’s normal coz it’s RWD vehicle. But I don’t think this happens in other company RWD AT cars. Do you also hear this noise when changing from P to D or P to R ? Please respond . Other Scorpio N owners too, plz respond . Is it an issue or is it normal coz this is my 1st Automatic Car.

Hi bro… I am having Z8L AT Diesel. I was facing the same issue. When I asked this during service, they told like we have to push the break furthermore. So that the sound won't come. I have done the same, and that noise is not coming now. So we have to push the break as much to resolve this issue. Please try this. Thanks.

@@sujay7783hey, sorry for late reply. I saw ur comment just now,.. yea I tried deep pressing the break when changing gear, and noise is reduced.. but what about when taking reverse? I mean, there is the same noise when I slowly release breaks while reversing.. do you experience this while reversing too?

As you have mentioned as the first automatic car, many of the first time automatic users does a mistake while parking like I did. First when you stop the car shift the gear to N and pull the handbrake then release the foot break to see if the car is not moving and is in the handbrake then press the foot break and shift to P.

My steering on my 23' 4x4 Scorpio-N diesels feels loose, this is a common problem on the Scorpio-N, but Mahindra doesn't answer emails, Mahindra SA doesn't answer emails, and my dealership said it is the way the car is. If all the Mahindra Scorpio-N feels like this loose on gravel and paving then I would suggest that you do not buy one.

7 seater experience 8/10 is not worth . Last row is crampiest of all 7 seaters . Also middle row seating is upright position, so high chance for middle row centre passanger to get low back ache for long trips . So 7 seater experience is 6/10 only . There is no boot literally. Also main issue is boot lid opening manner . If incase you have wall behind or another car parked behind means , you can't open the boot lid . So boot space and boot lid open 4/10 ( even few hatchbacks have better boot )

I don't know why Mahindra has not introduced Scorpio N with same engine tune of XUV 700???? May be they want to save XUV 700 because they know very well that if they provide same tune engine of XUV 700 in Scorpio N all the customers will opt Scorpio N over XUV 700.

The major reason of them launching Scorpio N with 175hp tune is fuel economy. Since it's a body on frame car and is rear wheel driven(more power loss due to added mechanicals like drive shaft), it is heavier than Xuv7OO. If they had launched it with 185 hp tune the fuel economy would have been in single digits.
