For either system, put a channel for the front wheel so it doesn't rotate and you'll reduce the amount of bike movement lowering the strain on the retention system.

Same here. Im ordering 2 of these systems. Also, i noticed that this guy has the snow mobile version (double chain on each side) as opposed to the regular dirtbike version (single chain on each side)?

Great to hear Crazybrotha, they use this system for sleds as well which as you known are much heavier. I like the idea it saves your seals as well. Much much easier to load than the Lock-N-Load system which was a bit gimmicky, not dependable and light weight thin metal and components.

I agree. Riding the bike causes much larger pressure spikes internally inside the fork. Tying down is nowhere near the same force on the seals. The hold downs look good though.

I also fell into the Lock and Load system gimmick. I have two problems and why I can't use it. 1- I have a 2017 YZ250X and it is just to tall and everything is stock. The sag is adjusted correctly for my weight 170. I push the bike into place and it won't lock. I need a second person to help compress the shocks to far enough to lock the legs. Then when trying to get my bike out of it. The lock and load is has so much force on the lock load legs the pin will not come out and again I have to gwt another person to sit and compreas my shock more so I can unlock it.... 2- it is not two stroke friendly. It is impossible to load it going foward due to the expansion chamber. The instructions say to load it backwards. Have you ever tried to pull a bike up a ramp it isn't easy. Then I have to repeat all of my first compliant.. I am 50 years old, and I ride alone hence why I bought this system. Fyi I ride alone because no one I know rides so alone it is. I thought this system would make my life easier well it made it harder.

The Lock and Load has been Awesome for me. It doesn’t fail on me at all. However. I live in NC. Home to NASCAR. Logging roads are pretty rough. So don’t expect when the trailer tilts up to 45* to 25*. The sway is huge. When I off road the trailer to the riding trail I always strap on a couple sway straps. Boom problem solved. Easy Peezy Greezy. Y’all have a great day riding. Cheers.

Since posting this experience I've heard from a lot of people who experienced the same issue. Anyways just trying to inform so like you said you can put safety straps on the bike or purchase a different system. Thx for watching

Off topic but what kind of mirrors are those on your bike? Those look pretty cool and functional.

If you check out my FE501 review you'll see more info. I recently changed them to Rottweiler mirrors as the ones you like which are called Power Madd mirrors are cheaper but horrible for the road. They were just for compliance.

Any idea what is the max width of foot pegs that these will accept I couldn't find that information on the web site? I'm thinking of getting a Dual Sport that has 38mm stock and I was thinking of switching to 50mm.

Your good until 62mm or 2.5 inches max. P.S this system is still working fantastic. Most aftermarket pegs don't exceed this sizing.

@@WADZUP Ok that sounds good. I live in the Midwest but ride atvs in Co. and Utah and I would like to get a Dual Sport and even though I see people use straps all the time it always make me uncomfortable so I would like to find a reliable setup that will make 2000 to 2500 mile roundtrips. @@Redrubicon1 Great idea, keep in mind that straps compress the front forks and if you go that route I'd recommend seal savers so you don't blow out seals by compressing the forks with straps. This system is even used on snowmobiles and I've tested it under some very harsh conditions and would back them unless I felt strongly. Thanks for the sub. But how are you going to mount three bikes close together? You need to bend down to connect each (x6 for three bikes). Doesn't seem nearly as easy as the Lock and Load. Maybe with one bike but not two or three :-(

Isaac Cohen well that track is 7.85 in wide and the bike binders tracks are approximately 3 inches wide each so you should be able to mount both of the bike binders tracks but it would be tight with all the chains but its an interesting idea. Id call Bike Binderz directly and run it past them. They are very supportive and knowledgeable

Spoke with them today, Your right, REALLY supportive. They don't have first hand experience with a hauler like mine but I think your suggestion is going to be what Im going to try first. Thanks for the response and this video!
