Water will enter half meter in if you want, all the way to the driver if you really try to (reverse full throttle). I usually remove sand and dirt like that.

That can be quite easily adapted with fibreglass infill across the back, a grp option would be a nice though.

@@MotorBoatYachting Most modern Mercedes cars are made up of aluminium, plastic or carbon fibre so the body won't rust 😉 If I drove one at pace into a lake. It would go further along in the water than your boat without the optional motor 😉 Of course it would be knackered after that, but would it be less valuable than the boat 🤔 The value of a new boat plummets once purchased.
