I have had one of these for two years. All good, zero issues. Sound is good, I can talk on the phone and you can charge it while the unit is turned on (unlike some others). If you ride once a month and don't have much money to spare (like many people with kids and a mortgage) then get one of these. Your negativity towards a product that you have not yet used is disappointing.

Hey, I have a kid and mortgage too. Problem is, I have tried Sena and Cardo, and know how good they are… I’m not expecting the same sort of quality from a unit 1/5 the price, but if it stands up to my testing, I will take it all back.

@@MotoNZ what's the point of making a review of something you didn't even try? looking at the package and saying "it's probably bad because it's cheap", no shit? that's why im looking for people who bought it to know if it's good quality? take down this waste of time

Having bought some of these FX6. They are great. These are much better than my 10yr old sena set. Time will tell how long they will last. The distance I could hear my biker mate is easy at least half a mile. Well worth the money.

The FX6 is waterproof to IP65 according to their online manual. I have used Fodsport GPS navigators on my bikes for years and can vouch for their being waterproof. They are a bit fragile but at 25% or less the price of a Garman or TomTom I can absorb the odd breakage

Thanks for watching. IP65 Enclosure - IP rated as "dust tight" and protected against water projected from a nozzle. Sounds like enough to protect against most conditions we as motorcyclists would encounter.

Suggestion do a comparison review on a Fodsport FX8 Pro vs Cardo Freecom 2X focusing on music between the two. Be nice to see your real FX6 review as mentioned was to occur

Just compared this with the sena srl2 in two Shoei neotecs and both agree the fx6 has clearly better quality sound and louder. £65 fx6/£260sena. Great coms but too quiet with ear plugs above 70mph with no fairing. You’ll hear music but couldn’t listen to a podcast and understand what’s said

There is a saying. "Im too poor to be cheap. " Ive bought the cheaper amazon headsets once and never again. Work a little harder save up that money and get a Cardo Spirit HD. My main issue with these cheaper units is the volume is not enough to even hear talk radio or podcasts. Music might be fine but You need to have something loud enough.

Generally speaking, I agree. Hey something from a known brand that is reliable. But we’re going to see how good/bad these are anyway…
