Question, I have a paramotor trike that I fly, the new trike I'm using have a steep rake with a lot of trail and it has a lot of chopper flop and it's really touchy. I want to fix it so it's more stable and not so jittery at speed. Could you answer so.e questions if I show you pics?

Love you videos. Very helpful. I’m still workin on my 86 goldwing rear suspension. Not sure if I should go mono shock style or double shocks like warbird type goldwing builds. Was there a major deciding factor why you choose mono style? & do you think double shocks like Warbird bikes used would work well just based on pictures of that set up? Keep up good work. Your videos have been instrumental for me.

I designed the suspension minimize stress on the CV joint on shaft drive. That was why I did a linkage, which led naturally to a monoshock. Don't know if it was all necessary, but it does ride nice 😀

I read somewgere that swapping with a longer monoshock at the back reduces trail. If that's true, can you please explain how? I believe only the handlebar height would reduce because of the increased weight, but how woukd that affect the trail?

Trail mainly functions to give the bike a certain amount of steering stability. Vary the amount of trail and you will change the bike's tendency to want to go straight or want to turn. In the video I looked at the trail on the front tire. There is also a trail in regards to the rear tire, but it's effect on the ride of the bike is not as significant as the front. The rear trail is measured from the contact patch of the steering stem on the ground (this is at the front of the bike) to the contact patch of the rear tire. A longer monoshock should increase the ground clearance, but also shorten the rear trail as the wheelbase is slightly shorter. Would such change in the rear trail be enough to notice? Some riders, maybe not, some, yes. I've not tried this, so I couldn't tell ya. @@HooptieDoodle I think you understood it all wrong. I was talking about front rake and trail only. Why does it change upon changing rear shock length.

Quick question, what do you exactly mean by "this frame can't legally be use" ?

The VIN has been re-classified/designated as non-rebuildable. My CB500F was a salvage title and I could rebuild it and legally put it back on the road, I cannot do that with this grom.
