Awesome! Great to see someone sharing their way of upholstering a chopper seat. Not enough out there in this great of detail. Nice work!

I first heard of this guy and his amazing work through John Repetto and Craig Kenyon from The Eazy Company. It does my old heart good to know that hands-on American craftsmanship still exists!

Amazing work and good in ya for recording the process. I mess with upholstery as a hobby as well. A humble suggestion, from someone who does quite a bit of shaping foam myself, grab a cheap dual oscillating blade turkey carver. These things make very close rough shaped and really reduce time spent profile sanding. Keep up the great work and happy holidays!

Haha thanks!! Figure there are a few techniques people may be able to pick up on in the videos… I tried turkey carvers a couple times but they never lasted more than a couple seats… gott give the body saw a try soon… but the volume of seats I do made me stick to tried and true grinder lolz

@Counter Balance Cycles fair enough..yknow a body saw and a fine tooth blade might be the ticket. Good talking with ya...hope the datsun survives! 😎👍

A) What type of foam is that? B) What model sewing machine is that? C) What is the tubing you're putting on the pan edges? It looks stiffer that standard polyethylene tubing.
