For alignment, measure the threads in the bolt for adjusters. They use the same bolts for each side.

Terrible or at least inaccurate (literally) advice (the tick marks on the swing arm are notoriously inaccurate). The tip I liked is to find an industrial fluorescent tube and lay it alongside the rear tire. That will show where it's pointing. Fiddle with it a little until left and right sides are pointing at the same thing in relation to the front tire, and your rear tire is aligned. The rear tire is more important than allining things by the chain, which doesn't make any sense to me. * And you will absolutely have tight and slack sections of the chain. Spin the back tire until you find the tightest place and use that to measure the slack. And don't tighten it to the max of the spec, do it rather to the middle. The tighter you make it, the sooner you will stretch your chain out.

Another good tip: invest in some quality aftermarket chain adjusters as well as an alignment tool. I myself and a few other people went to Lightech and had issues but overall they’re a good investment. I switched to some from Gilles and haven’t looked back. Whichever maker you go with is a great investment, they make the job of adjusting and alignment so much easier. At the very least, spend the $15 on an alignment tool like the one from motion pro and be happy

Chain tension isn't​ fixed for every bike and every chain, go read owner manual for more detail or that info on swing arm for basic!
