The center of Vietnam is a motorcycle paradise. Our initial plan was to just ride a motorcycle from Hué to Hoi An. However, when we were in Phong Nha National Park we enjoyed the motorcycles so much that we decided to skip the bus. We rented a motorcycle from Motorvina, which is very reliable. They transported our luggage to Hoi An with a shuttle. It ended up being an incredible motor trip from Phong Nha to Hoi An (340km). This ride allowed us to stop at the most local restaurants and beaches which a normal tourist never ends up seeing.

Vietnam was my first long-distance travel and it couldn't have been better. First of all, Vietnam is very travelers-friendly; we never felt uncomfortable, the infrastructure is perfect and nature is breathtaking. Besides that, everything is very affordable from food to accommodation. Going with a small group of close friends allowed us to be very flexible.
