Probably smart to go with that 54AH lithium battery. Lithiums are more lightweight, and using this one still allows some room for tackle boxes to be dropped in there. That has been the thing holding me back the most, losing space for my tackle.

YeH he had the big lithium battery I should have videoed how the battery was installed he has a get way of doing it now he has it on the P127

Do you leave it on the kayak or where do you store the motor when u get home? I was worried about deforming the hull on my ss127

It removes with a few pins so can take it off and on if don’t want it up there

How has it held up now that's been a bit? Seen a lot of people complain about Xi3's after some use.

Yes he used it a lot it’s actually the demo setup for Bonafide so it’s been used by alot of different people and I have not heard any issues as if today anyway

How are you liking the xi3 and is that battery enough for a day of fishing.?

The battery he had is the largest one you can get and I know he can go couple days with it but also know he spent like 700$ just on the battery

with the spot lock it keeps the kayak in place will not spin

Not sure if he did. But Motor Guide makes a 36” shaft version with GPS specifically for kayaks.

I don’t own one that’s first time I used one and really liked it. Me personally i like paddling so no real use for a motor but definitely see the use for this one..
