'My Spanish Home' I bought a dodgy Transit from a daycent travellin' man Where Corrib waters gush and flush out into Galway Bay A pair of fashionistas, all honour-bound by time We huffed and puffed and spittle-shook a dodgy Transit price. With ten days work I readied her for off-grid life in Spain A cooker, sink, a fridge, a bed and solar on the roof From Dublin Port to Holyhead and Dover to Calais Then south for Paris and Toulouse and through the Pyrenees. A week in Barcelona spent rambling through the streets The 'Keys of Vilanova' were completely unforseen I picked a baker's dozen from Valentia's orange groves And swam in crystal waters at the Algar waterfall. Intempo Tower at Benidorm I captured through the lens My DJI above the beach turned tourist into friend The breakfast in La Zenia reminded me of home The fullest Irish platter served with sun-kissed Kerrygold. Cartagena, Almeria and then Roquetas de Mar Nerja, Rincon del Victoria and south of Malaga After almost nineteen hundred miles and three months on the road I found a spot on 'Scabby Beach' and parked my Spanish home.

Thanks Roger , it was great to get some sunshine and see the beach , although surprisingly not a patch on the beaches of the Costa Blanca. We're in the mountains again at the moment so the big coats are out again. Thanks for watching as always Helen and Martin

Quirkiness personified! Loved the look & feel of the site and right on the beach too! Poppy does flamenco Helen sounded a bit croaky, I do hope that was due to the cerveza 🍺 Keep em comin 👍

You can take Yorkshire folk of Yorkshire , but you'll never stop them enjoying a beer and a curry. Not to the levels of the old Flouch Indian Restaurant, which as our favourite and one of the reasons why we moved , the Flouch closed and life ended was we new it 😂😂😂😂😂. That’s seems a good place to stay. Enjoyed your video in Malaga,Nerja Is worth a visit as well,think there is a place to park van Near the beach.

Helen you mentioned personal tracking app for making sure you are both safe do you mind telling me why one you use. We are also considering one but not sure what’s the best one to get. Thanks.

Hi Lynn, we both use Apple I phones so use the App Find My IPhone. As long as we have our phones with us we can find each other as our locations are displayed on a map. You can also use it for other Apple products, I Pads etc. it’s great if, for example Martin goes out really early taking photos I can go out and find him. I think Find My Friends is a similar thing. It just gives us peace of mind. We also have Apple Air tags, which we put in kit, rucksacks etc and also in a small holder on the dogs collar, again you can track through Find my IPhone as well. Hi Wayne , this will depend on time and date of travel. Our trip over this month on Le Shuttle for adults , in a 7.5m motorhome cost £194.18. Hope that gives you some idea. Another lovely Vlog. I have not seen a sunrise for over 3 years (since I finished night shifts) and it’s probably time to look at one again now. Seeing your tour reminds us that we should value the high standards on uk campsites. We have only visited a few campsites in France and we noticed the smaller pitches and basic facilities. With everything we have in our vans, this shouldn’t be a problem 😃👍🏻🚐 Trev

Thanks for watching Trev , there some great sites in Europe but I agree they are often rated 3 star, but we find these aires do place you very close to where you want to be and keep costs down on a long trip. You are right though the sites in the Uk are pretty good.

Super place and I'm glad to see the weather has improved for you and now looks great. Martin , you took some excellent stills on the beach - very scenic. After watching you both enjoying Europe, we're champing at the bit to start our travels - Concierge tomorrow, then Scotland and South West France in late summer. Can't wait!

Enjoy Concierge , the best site in England in our view and the rest of your plans looks exciting to. The weather has been a mixed back and we are in the Mountains again at the moment up high and it 0 -5 degrees at night but scenic and stunning. The photographic options are tremendous. Hi , we have been twice recently both in winter and it was full thankfully we were tipped off to book and did so both times. Hi Angela thanks for watching . The ruck sack is great quality , there are slots for poochie to slide her/his legs through and they are a great idea. We know lots of people that it really works well for . For us it worked great until Poppy was about 18 months old and old enough to start running with us . Since that point she progressively hasn't liked the rucksack in fact if we put her in it , she starts to run and whinge in the sack as we move , so we have just invested in a Buddy Rider in the hope that will work better for us. it's early days on that front. Update on our stay over New Year. We rocked up as planned and was told our booking was cancelled and the site was full. The place is an absolute joke plus it was overcrowded and scruffy. In fact they did us a favour! Not a good experience for us I'm afraid.

I always enjoy seeing where you’ve been and what you’ve been up to. Malaga looked great and I can’t think of anything better than a curry and a beer on the beach.
