A motorhome staycation in the beautiful St Ives Cornwall England. Who needs to go abroad when you have beaches like these right here in the UK. We pack in the activities :) A hike from St Ives to Zennor along the Cornish cliffs with an open top bus ride, an eBike ride from St Ives to Penzance visiting St Michaels Mount and Mousehole along the way, a Hike from St Ives to Hayle and back. We had a close call with a seagull and finally finished our holiday with a self drive Motorboat ride in St Ives Harbour. We stay at Hellesveor Holidays campsite with our motorhome which is a 25 minute walk into the centre of St Ives. This is a lovely peaceful and clean site and the owners are very friendly.

@@ExtremeMotorhomingAdventures historically they were used by the Army to train commandos, hence the name but have been very popular during the 70s and 80s with the climbing fraternity. There's some great routes there, Suicide wall being one of the best hard routes in the country when it was set.

You sold St Ives better than I did :-) You were there the same time as us as well, but you seen to have better weather. In fact at one point I think you were at Corbis Bay and we were in Hayle. Lovely vlog, you were fortunate you didn't have to drive into St Ives. We refused to get on the Covid Coaches. BTW you and your pesky eBikes, I think I'm on the verge of buying one, just waiting for a bit more info..GB

We did experience the covid bus from Zennor to St Ives... that was an experience, packed full!! You decide on the eBike soon 😀🚴‍♂️⚡️...you won't regret it!! Cheers...Andy & Michelle

That was great to watch. You cant beat Cornwall for such lovely places to go.Must say that was a mighty large ice cream, and the scones looked yummy. Loved the open top bus and your ride on the boat looked great fun. Loved the views of the places you went.

Another great vlog. Do you ever seem to go away and the weather is poor. It's in the UK and its stunning sun. I am sure another vlogger went to St Ives and wasn't as nice as that.

One of your best yet! Our favourite area, Mum and Dad stayed at the Hotel at Carbis bay. Such a great place. That new drone is brilliant such great quality. You really showed everyone what a great place Cornwall is👍 Keep up the good work, Oliver.

Thanks Oliver, we didn't actually have the new drone when we were in St Ives. The quality between the two is roughly the same but the Mavic Mini 2 has the advantage of its small size, and the new software for quick shots which my old Mavic Pro didn't have. I'm glad we managed to do Cornwall justice, we knew it is your favourite area so the pressure was on!!! 😀 Cheers...Andy&Michelle

I think just about anyone who has been to St Ives on a sunny day will make it their favourite UK destination, it's just so beautiful! When we were sat there on the harbour eating a Cornish pasty it felt like heaven!! Cheers...Andy&Michelle

Another great getaway. Clare has been to lots of those places and says its gorgeous. We are aiming for Cornwall this summer. Great to see Andy had his scone the correct way - sorry Michelle. Great Hydrangeas on the walk and also a couple of trains. What a video :) stay safe both xx

Thanks, you should definitely pay Cornwall a visit. There are so many great places , we just scratched the surface in the video. I've seen an app where it will tell you the names of plants from a photo, I'll save my money and send you pictures 😀 Cheers..Andy&Michelle

Thank you , It’s certainly a beautiful part of the country! Definitely require a truck sat nav as the roads are really narrow, easy to get stuck with no where to turn around!! If you have e bikes then your laughing... no parking issues for one 😉🚴🏼👏🌊🚐 Cheers both, Michelle and Andy 😀😀

Cornwall does look like such a beautiful part of the country (and you had some glorious looking weather!). Gorgeous walks and hiring that boat in particular looked so much fun! We would love to visit Cornwall although so far the drive from up north has put me off. Your video does make me think again that I need to just suck it up and do it though!

It is a long way from up North, but if you break the journey down...there are plenty of incredible places to visit along the route! Cornwall certainly has a special place in our heart as it’s where I proposed to Andy on the beach 🏖 With the tin from a disposable bbq as a ring 💍 soooo romantic hey ! 😆😂 Michelle and Andy x

I really enjoyed the video but 8:23 seems like harmless fun until something goes wrong. A Sky TV executive and his daughter tragically and very sadly died in Cornwall in 2014. Other members of the family were left with life changing injuries. I have owned two power boats and always piloted with the kill cord attached. I realise conditions were calm but don't gamble with your own safety and that of others. A rotating propeller commands respect, the hire company should have stressed this.

Yes you are right, you know it didn't cross our minds and the hire company didn't inform us about it. I've watched the video back and I can see a kill switch cord. I've found their details online so I'll contact them and point it out to them, thanks for commenting, as you say, its always harmless fun until something goes wrong. Assuming they respond I'll let you know what they say, Cheers...Andy
