It's the weekend and true to form at this time of year The Slaws stay at a pub on a motorhome pub stopover.
They spend a lovely evening at The John Thompson Inn & Brewery, enjoying a good meal and a few beers before returning to Helga their Hobby motorhome to watch Gogglebox.

After a good night's sleep, Slaw pops the drone up, before heading off to the NEC Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Show at the Birmingham NEC.
In part 1 of their adventures at the show they look at Carthago and Morelo motorhomes. Both way of their price bracket unless they win the lottery 😂
The Slaws meet lots of their lovely subscribers. Did you make into the Hall of Fame?

Don't get me wrong MH have never been cheap, but did camping not used to be for the man. Some of those vans even me selling my house I could not have. Good luck to those that can as some look amazing.

Will he have walked more than 5 miles? We went early 80's it was caravan and boat show or something like that. Large yacht as centre display and very high end caravans

Great vlog Mr and Mrs slaw the stop over looked very enticing it might be in the middle of nowhere but it's a pub perfect (not that you 2 drink lol) the food looks great, I wasn't surprised to hear motorhomes are very popular at the show more so than caravans but it seems prices have gone through the roof which is pushing up the price of used ones that said great vlog looking forward to part 2 take care the gowerz Portsmouth xx

Fancy giving some advice to fellow Northeners? We're going back to motorhoming after an eight year break - picking up the bus next week after a wait of 54 weeks. Talk about excited! Any way back to my request. We watch you watching TV (glass in hand, of course) and wonder how you watch TV through t'interweb. We're told that watching it through an aerial is "so last year"! The bus has got one of them there WiFi boxes and summat on the roof but beyond that.....help! If you've done a vlog and I've missed it then I apologise. Any help may well save our marriage. Many thanks.

Welcome Robert! It runs off the mobile wifi in the motorhome. The Avtex router has a SIM card in.

Hi I am on the verge off buying my first motorhome/van for full time living with my wife do you think a 7.5m MH with good living space island bed would be more stressful then a CV that can be parked easier for wild camping as we don't intend to use campsites very often. Thanks

Hi David, how exciting! Lots of great adventures ahead. Our van is 7m with a French bed. We find that there’s a lot of wasted space with an island bed. Also, you go up at least half a metre. That’s all extra length for driving round small roads and parking. We’ve taken ours round the NC500 and WAW and they were very narrow!
