Had this model for several years. I remember when I bought it I was shocked to see it was the old Airfix mould considering the price at the time. I slung it under the bench out of sight in disgust.. I always planned on putting it on Ebay to atleast get some of my money back but I never did.
Why you may ask ?
Well it's simple...Old Airfix kits are just a pants. A lot of parts just don't fit or they are not moulded properly, raised panel lines and lots of rivets. I avoided them for years. It was a case of shock and horror when they started re releasing some of the old kits last year.. I didn't buy a single one...Oh No !!
I'm glad to say they have really upped their game in the past few years with some truly excellent kits, some of which you can see in my previous videos.
Anyway enough of this waffle.
