Nice going Dean. It's guys like us that give American shooters what they want. Home grown made in the USA. Bert R Dobbins AKA Fast Brass

Very cool set-up! Can you do another video on exactly how you went about building it?

Skip -- Started with the 21st Century Shooting Neck Turning tool: www.xxicsi.com/17-338-cal.-neck-turning-lathe.html I didn't buy the entire lathe, just the cutting tool, cutting tool mount, shell holder and appropriate mandrels for the caliper I'm turning. The box itself isn't anything special, simple plywood screwed and glued, routed an edge around the top to fit the aluminum plate. Drilled / Tapped mounting holes for hardware. Purchased from ebay: The aluminum plate for the top: 1/2" X 6" ALUMINUM 6061 FLAT BAR 12" long .500 Solid Plate T6511 Mill Stock Display Module: US 0.96" I2C IIC Serial 128X64 LED OLED LCD Display Module for Arduino White. The small trim piece around the display module was 3d printed by a friend of mine. This is the part he printed: www.thingiverse.com/thing:690691 Power socket: 1x BLUE LED Rocker Switch Fuse Holder C14 Inlet Power Socket AC250V 10A Motor mount: 57 57mm Aluminum Mounting Bracket For NEMA23 Stepper Motor Professional WHITE !! Power Supply: High Performance 36V DC 9.7A 350W Regulated Switching Power Supply 36 Volt Power step down to power Arduino Mega: DC-DC 3A Buck Converter Adjustable Step-Down Power Supply Module LM2596S Motor used: 1 Axis CNC Kit 439oz.in Nema 24 Stepper Motor & Driver CNC Mill Router www.ebay.com/itm/US-Ship-1-Axis-CNC-Kit-439oz-in-Nema-24-Stepper-Motor-Driver-CNC-Mill-Router-/231616285298?hash=item35ed680a72:g:0Y4AAOSwyQtVmyaY Arduino Mega ( you can get brand name or knock offs... ) www.arduino.cc/en/Main/ArduinoBoardMega2560 Flex Coupler ( you can probably find cheaper, but this combined with a 3/8" steel shaft allowed me to couple to the 21st century case holder ) www.mcmaster.com/#2464k25/=13cbhn5 The linear rail and plate came from: openbuildspartstore.com The parts list: 12 x Precision Shim - 10x5x1mm 1 x Low Profile Screws M5 (Length: 8mm, Quantity: Qty. 25) 1 x Tee Nuts (25 Pack) 1 x C-Beam™ Linear Rail (Length: 250mm) 1 x C-Beam Gantry Set I purchased the power switch and used a descent Bourns potentiometer to control the speed. I also attached an i2c arduino temperature sensor inside to make sure it wasn't overheating, which it never has. I don't have the specific part number for the sensor, however you should have no trouble finding one. You'll need some wire and have to do some soldering to put it all together. If you're familiar with programming the Arduino, this is the source code I wrote to drive it: github.com/djmurf/NeckTurner I will tell you, it wasn't cheap! It was a blast to build it, and I really do like how it turned out. I can't say it's any better than just a good motor attached to a shell holder, etc, but it was really fun building it... If you're serious about trying to build one, let me know. I can pop the top off and post some picture of how the inside is layed out. Good Luck!

350watt power supply is overkill! You can get by with $10 24v power supply, 2A is more than enough. You can salvage free stepper from big scanners/ laser printers and copy machines or just buy one from eBay. I bought my stepper driver (TB65xx) from eBay for about 8 bucks, also if you want to skip Arduino programming and potentiometer, you can get a pulse generator with pot., Forward/Reverse and 3 different frequencies for cheap from eBay too, it's actually very nice and connects to stepper driver.

What are the specs on the motor and where did you get it?

Jon -- I used a Nema 24 stepper motor, I "believe" this one right here: www.ebay.com/itm/US-Ship-1-Axis-CNC-Kit-439oz-in-Nema-24-Stepper-Motor-Driver-CNC-Mill-Router-/231616285298?hash=item35ed680a72:g:0Y4AAOSwyQtVmyaY
