Hi Rachit - Excellent video! Minor correction : The lane assist works with camera only (mounted on windscreen). Radar needs objects to detect and it cannot detect unmarked lanes.

Correction - Radar is not used for lane marking detection. It can only detect solid objects.

Exactly. Lane features purely use camera, Radar cannot see lane markings at all. During snow, rain this needs to be avoided, some cars disable Adas automatically in such situations.

To give another perspective, Adaptive cruise control ka use village roads par bhi kar sakte hain. I have tried it out on MG Astor.

Hi, Radar isn't used to detect lane marking - it is only done using Camera! Radar is used primarily for collision warning

@@thehighendzone9632no there’s no special sensor for lane. It’s purely camera. Presence of radar doesn’t improve any Lane features. It’s only for collision detection.

Drowsiness Detection system 2. Smart Pilot Assist What's your experience on suspension noise? It is a major complaint from several users. Do you think it'll be mitigated in the upcoming batches. I have booked AX7L Diesel Automatic which is expected to be delivered in a year time. I hope all these niggles will be addressed by then.

ADAS pass ho ya fail. lekin hame aise features ko support karna chahiye, kyuki foreign countries me kuch features aise hai jo hame pata bhi nahi. bhale hi ADAS problem creat kare, Par jab Problem aayegi tabhi to Solution milega.

let's c when it is properly used by people but personally felt that it is going to increase accidents as if it would have features like this and owner rely on these features properly, then these things can create a mess, i think if adas in India is developed to a level of auto drive feature in Tesla, then it ll become meaningful

Radar does not read lane lines. Being a well known KZfaq auto journalist, please don’t provide wrong info. All radar does is object detection. It can’t detect or see lane lines. Lane line detection is only by camera feedback.

No. Not unless there is a vehicle in front of you which has also slowed down. On an empty road it won't slow down.

ADAS helps because it is meant to and designed to help/assist. But Indian drivers should practice better driving habits. People drive the cars carelessly and cause accidents even when not drunk. Sleeping off while driving is even worse. Speeding doesn't help in any way. If it is an emergency still then you must know the capabilities of your car and have good road awareness. Good driving skills can avoid you hitting other objects. Road awareness can help you avoid careless drivers. Be responsible, Drive safe. Technology doesn't assure you your safety because they have limitations.

ADAS is awesome but I feel people may take too much risk as well. For example : My car creta has hill assist, but when it completetely stopped on a slope, due to clutch not properly pressed, it didnt worked, but works if the car is in motion. Not sure if we should believe too much on technology and start taking risk, thinking ADAS will save us for sure

ADAS is to assist - it isn't autonomous driving features. It more for warning and supporting not completely performing

Comparing Hill assist and adas features are like comparing apples and oranges. The name says Advanced Driver Assist System and not Autonomous Driving. We have to be 100% concentrating while driving with Ada’s or w/o adas

nahi bhai safety matlab basic features like airbags etc aur decent star rating. ye adas vagera safety nahi luxury hai agar gaadi chalani hai toh road par poora dhyan hona chahiye in adas and all se kuch zyada fark nahi padta
