personal opinion: Companies should offer sunroof only as an optional feature instead of making it standard. Sunroof is the least useful feature but significantly increases price of a vehicle. In a country like ours where we need to use AC 8-9months out of 12months every year, sunroof makes no sense. Also, the dust that enters vehicle when you open sunroof is another challenge. In place of sunroof we can have many features that will be used daily & can increase safety features too.

Didn’t you comment the exact same thing in other videos of Nexon? Sunroofs are here to stay, it is what it is. Buy the variant which doesn’t have one. Simple. People have varied wants and choices, manufacturers cater to that.

agree, in my area i cannot even open windows due to dust. But sunroof have one benefit, you can quickly cool your car in hot summer as hot air tends to go upward.

Hi, I have been a regular viewer of your channel and videos which helped me to learn more about the Cars. Recently I have purchased Nexon EV but my experience is not good with the delear. They also have charged extra when I compared with the reciepts there is a difference of 592 Rs, when I asked dealer to return that amount back they simply denied. Now I feel cheated when they denied, now can you please suggest me what actions can I take to get my money back. Though this is not a big amount but I wish to take some steps against their behaviour and want to teach them a lesson.

I am planning to buy nexon ev next month. Have watched many review videos but no one is comparing nexon ev base model which costs around 15.50L on road with petrol creative model which costs around 12.50L on road. These both models have almost same features. Everyone is just comparing top models of ev and petrol. So I am thinking with just 3L of difference why not to go with EV. Can anyone please help if I am wrong?

With this 3 lakhs difference you can fill free petrol for almost 4 years. Also with a petrol car, you will not have the daily tension & wait time of charging the EV. The battery replacement cost of EVs is also huge...so almost no resale value. EVs are impractical and just a temporary fad. If you have to buy now and need a dependable car, then petrol would be better.

@@motoroctane I have been watching your content for ages and I have really enjoyed it. But this was not up to the expectations you have built overtime. As you mentioned to watch the drive part, here is my read of drive part: You discussed about EV facts (like car naming, battery pack, battery cooling system, motor type, driving modes, top speed) - which was already told to us during first walk through. You should have talked about how all of the above impact the real world / on road experience as compared to the last version, but you kept saying “overall its same as Nexon we used to and there is no such complaints”. To my mind it still looks like a brochure video rather than a review by an expert like Rachit. I will wait for your next review and hopefully get to know much more about the real-world change vis-a-viz outgoing Nexon.

I am also a Nexon EV owner and I have noticed a small glitch in its music system. whenever I play songs from USB, it starts with the same song every time, It does not keeps the record of last played song. Note: There should be a gap of 6 -7 hours. If you play music after more than 6 to 7 hours, then It plays from begining same song. For short duration halt, It keeps the track record and works as usual. Please help me if there is some settings to fix this issue. Thanks.

Eco mode is only for cruising when you want maintain a speed - if you use Eco Mode in city - more effort is needed to pull the car and so lower mileage

Guys, i have been seeing your videos and on believing the above i bought it. However Nexon Empowered delivered on 15th October, 2023 - showed yesterday night - "Battery critical Failure, please evacuate car immediately" The service call center doesnt have any information of the customer details. From the RSA person, we came to know that lot of these cars are having issues and they are busy with it. Please wait for atleast more 3 to 4 years before investing in electric cars. TATA MOTORS PRODUCTS NOR SERVICE IS DEPENDABLE.
