Accessories can be cheaper when buying outside of dealership. 5. Do research for buyback. 6. Prefer cash discount instead of accessories. 7. Do proper inspection of stocked vehicle. 8. Do pre delivery inspection before dealer add accessories. 9. Check paint/chips 10. Check lights, music system, seat fabric. 11. Open engine, if it's dirty, it means vehicle was standing for a long time. Odometer should not read more than 100kms in any case. 12. Everything promised should be written on paper.

For example Ford Aspire Titanium and Titanium+ has only a few differences, one of the major difference being 6 airbags (Titanium+) vs 2 airbags (Titanium). So which one to choose?? Thanks for the info. It's very true the showroom guys usually mislead. In my case I was cheated by Prerana Motors - Bangalore, my Indica Vista car door plastics beige colour and the dash board beige colour found different. This I noticed very late (2 months !) this was because the car was stationed under sun for very long period and the door plastics got faded.

12:20 car shown was 120 kms which is way above the recommended km mark for a brand new car. This car was definitely used.

Also the dealership had told me that accessories are of 9999/- but when I asked him to remove it from the on road price the discount of the said amount is not reflecting
