Seeing a lot of foldable bashing here. Which lets me know either its been a long time since folks used a foldable or have NEVER used a foldable. That said? I like what motorola's done here...especially with the cover screen. Just worried about consistent software support.

I have the same issue on flip 3. It stopped opening fully what is the reason for this. they told me I need to replace the whole screen although there is no issue w the screen. it will cost a fortune. @saw0man

I just received the phone today. The KZfaq video full screen is not optimised. Either you zoom upto 1.7x to fill the screen or keep it at 1.4x to end up having black bars all around. The remaining features and app functionalities and features are like any other premium smart phone. The secondary screen is the game changer.

That RAZR is truly disappointing - Since January users have to open the phone to use Google Assistant, and Moto is not even committing to fix this critical user-function, despite still advertising that Assistant can be used with the phone closed. It is a serious defect for a phone that promotes usability when closed. The Lenovo/Moto/RAZR support/discussion board shows how little Moto is taking any responsibility of a broken feature Moto specifically promotes. Moto RAZR... outrageous you have to open the phone to use Google Assistant, awkward, not as advertised, more wear on the hinge and screen fold... since Jan '24 - still that way in July - that 25% of a phone's typical use life a critical SW function is broken. Great idea, but someone dropped the ball on this critical function.

@@kushagraN I'm using the Moto Edge 50 Ultra. Suppose you unlock your phone and give it to a friend without app lock; they can access everything. The secure folder is available, but it creates copies of apps like a dual app setup. Additionally, the always-on display only works while charging. While Google Photos is indeed a good app, I think having a local gallery option would be beneficial.

This phone could have skipped the selfie camera and the screen would have looked awesome. But come on, Moto wasn't able to give new UI for last year's edge series phone. There is not even the monochrome monet theme in android 14. After buying last 3 year's edge series phones, no way I am ever interested in any moto phone. Put your faith in this inconsiderate, lack of innovation rubbish and you will be in my shoes.
