Would have loved to hear more about the charging and the battery module for the Joby. Also definitely not impossible but seems like that actually the biggest infrastructure need for their landing pads will be the high power charging. The rest is already or is more straight forward. Some buildings are already at their limits for electricity upgrades but not impossible. Could do a cool partnership with a company like Livewire for Aviation grade fast charging upgrades with a battery to supplement it. Also could be good use case for the NACS connector to charge them as well 😂

Well since eVTOLs can’t autorotate to a safe landing in a catastrophic engine failure, I’m guessing that the FAA will probably require a ballistic emergency parachute for these aircraft, at least in the beginning. This would reduce the available payload a bit but vastly increase safety to far over that of a helicopter.

You know, people cant driver fer SH on the ground with lanes marked nicely & all kinds of signs to direct them & traffic lights. How do you suppose they will do any better in the sky without any guidance? It will be a nightmare, air cars banging into one another & crashing thru the roofs of peoples homes killing the whole family. Unless these things are self flying thats the only way it might work. !

All I know is Joby's stock has lost half the value that I bought into it for... THEY SUCK as they have done nothing but crash their aircraft... They've done nothing to organize pilots for licenses, they have not done anything to organize regional airports for landing sites, or started building corporate users for advanced marketing, block time usage, and so on...they FAIL to realize that it is not about the aircraft as there are tons of aircraft designs already out there it is about the business and building the business...

So you bought in before the stock market crashed for a lot of companies across the board. Now you have come here to complain about the company that hasn't started their business operations yet? They have done nothing? Delivering the first aircraft to USAF. Piloted flight test now that was planned for 1st half 2024. Have their location for the new manufacturing facility that has structures in place already to get use out of it near term. They are working on Korea as an operating location. They have their subsidiary that flew the first piloted flight of liquid hydrogen. They literally have an online private pilot ground school course for high school kids. There was a press release about developing a Living Lab passenger terminal AKA landing site. They have had an agreement 2 years ago with REEF Technology & Neighborhood Property which is one of the largest parking garage operators for landing sites. Please research before you come complain about a stock that is a long term investment.

Did you think it was a safe investment before you bought it? It's speculative and high risk. All current evtol companies are complete scams.
