Ever wondered what a job at HOT ROD magazine is really like? In this episode of HOT ROD Unlimited we take you inside the offices at HOT ROD to show you what goes in to publishing the longest running automotive magazine of all time. You'll see the staff at work as we brainstorm new issues, work in the shop, shoot feature cars in the studio and drive our favorite cars. It's hard work, but someone has to do it.

As i commented to the MT bunch, you guys are sooo far ahead of the 'new' media curve it hurts! I've read Hot Rod & MT before you were born, but all the printed words and pictures cannot match the reality of this format. Bravo! to the editors of the 'brave new world' of automotive journalism!

it costs $$$$$$$$ to publish a magazine (not to mention all the web stuff they do) so if GM kicks in a couple bucks to stick Camaros around the place, who cares? If it helps keep the lights on a little longer, it's all good.

Good eye! It was a Hot Rod branded 1958 Les Paul from the Gibson Custom Shop. Done in 2008.

Did you noticed, that mustang on Finnegan screen is modified like a 78 trans-Am. Look at the flares in front and behind the wheels, the wheels, the rear spoiler and the COPO camaro hood!! :)
