That's why my dad brought his 1st truck a 1998 black sport Dodge Ram quad cab 360 (1st year for the quad cab) traded it in for a 1999 white Ram quad cab 360 and traded it in for a 2006 white Dodge Ram quad cab 5.7 Hemi Lone Star Edition

No it Didn't! It actually came to the table over 6 years late to the party. The 1988 GM pickups are what changed everything.

@@thedesertdwellerfromutah4354 no, the 1998 GM trucks were good, but didn't bring anything new to the table. The '94 Ram brought ABS to the front wheels, driver airbag, larger cab, more comfort and refinement, and a V10. It took Ford and GM several years to catch up. The 94 Dodge Ram is what began a whole new trend, something the GMT800 trucks never did. It was a gamble that paid off, and quite frankly not one that the two big boys wanted to risk being the first to take at the time.

It sure was a huge difference when Dodge FINALLY redesigned the body style for the Ram after the previous body style was used for the past 13 years even without add big facelifts and was considered a very outdated body style by 1994😅

These trucks have aged well. If it's in good shape, the truck still looks modern.

My dad had the this same truck except it was a crewcab, with a short bed, grey paint job, and a manual transmission, with the magnum v8. It was all stock had nothing done to it!! I remember driving it for the first time! I was probably like 16 and when I first started it i just remembered the engine roar and sound so mean! The take off was so easy for me even tho I never drove manual before. I only remember driving it a few times after that in 2020 but then my dad took it too mexico and i never saw it again. I really miss that truck and wished my dad passed it down to me. I definitely want to buy one and restore it back to the version of my dads!

This is an LH model Dodge Ram! 1994 LH line: Dodge Ram Dodge Intrepid Chrysler Concorde Eagle Vision Chrysler LHS Dodge/Plymouth Neon This also is the only LH model that has a V8 while others have either a 4 cylinder or V6 engines!

The 1994 Ram changed Trucks for ever and had huge sale figures that GM and Ford probably didn't expect. GM ,Ford and Chrysler didn't change their trucks much from the 1970s into the early 1990s. By the late 1990s GM and Ford caught up with new trucks. Since then it has been a competition to build the most capable truck with each new generation.

Dodge Ram is best truck of Dodge. 5.2 V8 220 hp, 300 LB_FT torque and 8.0 Litre V10 300 Hp - 450 LB-FT torque (unique truck with enigne V10 8.0)

What would have happened if at the last minute, Dodge decided against redesigning the Dodge Ram for the 1994 model year and just kept the 1972 design going until 2002? How would things have gone differently?
