Toyota learned to not make their small SUV too versatile and spacious during/after the 3rd gen- so many of us picked the rav4 v6 over the Highlander because of how much space it still had also while having the same v6 engine.

This generation of the Toyota RAV4 came out in 2005 for the 2006 model year.
