2021 and it’s still my dream car

Bought a new 2019 Corvette Grand Sport, with a MANUAL TRANSMISSION, and it’s a great car! Huge power, fantastic handling, and with the magnetic ride control, the car goes from track stiff to cruising smooth in an instant. My wife even asks when we can go for drives in the Grand Sport, and that rarely happens with my NSX. Buy one, if at all possible, life is short.

I have been a fan of the Corvette Stingray ever since I was a kid, and my uncle had one he would take my cousin and i out for rides and I absolutely fell in love with the vette. I think a Z06 is in my future!!

It's a world class car. Emphases on class. Some of us have it and some of us don't. For those that don't it's a POS, for those that do, enough cannot be said. It's a Chevrolet and it's made in America. What else need's to be said. That says it all.

Z06 is a beast. Own one. Not an over price like the GTR

C7 Stingray looks brilliant even the convertible, i don't usually like convertibles but this is awesome. The design and performance are fantastic, the Europeans cars should look to this if they want a head turner.

Gosh, I really like the Z06. I currently own a Hellcat and while it's my dream car, at some point I will have to get another car and will really suck to be getting cars with less hp, lol (first World problems) but i would happily go for a Z06. Mostly likely used as new is still costly. I got my Hellcat used with only 1059 miles on it, so you can find gems on any car you want if you reserarch and look carefully.

I wonder why no mention is made, in most of these reviews, of the overheating issue that everyone is saying these Z-cars experience after only a few full blast laps at the track? All feedback that was ever given at the rollout of the 2015 Z06 by all the journalists was praise. That is fine, but I would've liked to hear the cons of tracking the car too. I wonder if Chevy either only let everyone spin 1-2 laps at most or just brought a fleet of Z06s so that no one would see the heat-soak issue in any particular car? I am a new owner of a very gently used low-mile 2016 Z06 and am already pre-emptively planning. I'm already looking at the GMPP auxiliary radiator, and/or a bigger full size radiator, and/or a replacement Magnuson 2.4L S/C, all down the road.

Love me some old school style motor week :D

a true supercar. still exclusive for this market space, performance that is on par with the 458 and Turbo S, and some proper styling this time around. one hell of a good car for the money even if its more expensive in europe.

2012 GTR: 2.8 0-60.... Actual C7 Z06: 3.3 auto, 3.6 stick. And that 12' GTR is $70k, with dealers not letting a new Z06 go for under 90 to 110k.

every American I've seen test drive this car..LOVED IT! Every European or British guy who tested it..just puts it down.

How about for the old guys, make one with a motor, a 4 speed w/Hurst close ratio shifter, and a radio.....at my age I don't need to go back to college for 4 years to learn all that techie crap, that is not needed to go fast and have fun!

As much as I want to like the C7 Z06, its overheating issues are just awful. Should've stuck with an N/A engine or a larger supercharger and adequate cooling system.
