I’m a proud owner of Ecosport 2014 which was driven over 1.15 lac kms, then I exchanged it with 2019 Ecosport Titanium S which has crossed 1.25 lacs kms till now with excellent mileage of 27 kmpl when driven at 80 to 90 kmph. Only negative was the clutch in city traffic. It’s a gem while hitting highways. I have driven it Chennai-Pune non stop without any fatigue. Ford is a Ford ❤

Such a nice video bro, I bought Ecosport Diesel on Aug 2021 after your consultation but when ford announced they were leaving India I was worried initially with the service. But Ford have got it covered and as per ford promise the service charges remains same. I don't regret even 1% for buying Ecosport as I was driving Swift 2013 1.3 DDiS. Ecosport has great stance and the steering remains the highlight of this car. I have 20K kms till now and mostly on highways every time its a pure joy to drive this car in highway and I have achieved till 22.5kmpl when driven with light foot. Your words "This is a gem of an engine" comes to my mind always when I drive this car. Thanks Asir Bro and Motowagon team :):)

I had an first gen Ecosport Titanium O for 9+ yrs. Drover around 126k. Always had the joy of riding. Highways drive was pleasurable. Excellent stance. And the looks was ver attactive too. The best I loved was the TDCi engine. It was a gem. Gave away recently for newer car. If ford was still selling EcoSport, one of my options would have been to get the later version of it. India will miss EcoSport.

Great brother. Perfect review with accuracy in small things also. A proud owner of ecosport since 2019. This is my 5th car and my mind starts to think about next car once after 2 years... But till now nothing in mind.. Its a great loss that ford left india... Getting an average above 21 constantly and above 18 in cities.. The driving experience and the linear acceleration provided by the TDCI is still unmatched.. Most of the other diesels provided a sudden burst of power after 1500 to 2000 rpm... Another important thing is the built quality.. That safe feeling which we get while we close the doors and even on long drive in highways.. Your tips about safe driving is also good especially about the urgent tail gaters and road rage... Keep it up...

Definitely Ecosport is a lost Gem!!. It's an excellent compact SUV. As mentioned in the beginning there was this oil burning problem. But later on it was rectified and a best selling car. After service is very good and very much affordable. Very good review 👌👌👍🏻

I drive a 2017 Ecosport TDCI. 85K kms done so far, still runs smooth as ever on the highways. Engine is so responsive for the inputs, fun to drive. Maintenance is surspiringly low, low maintenance than our maruti Swift. Superb mileage, easily 20+ on highway with speeds around 100. Hard clutch is a big big problem in cities. Hard suspension is discomfort for passengers. Im looking after an upgrade, but petrol engies are not even close to what fun this TDCI gives. Please suggest an upgrade!!

I am an ex-Ford user (first gen Figo diesel, sadly missed now). When one of my friend wanted to buy a car with 10L budget in 2020 end, i suggested him to go for Ecosport Diesel eyeclosed. Adding more towards its positiveness, Ecosport Titanium variant came in early 2021 with sunroof at no additional cost (9.99L ex showroom) and he immediately got one. Needless to say, he has been so attached to the car ever since. There are also a lot of mod potentials with this car. His recent addition is cruise control.

It’s an awesome car, I m using it for last 7 years.. Every time I think about changing the car, didn’t find any equivalent / better match in market.. from cost, mileage, maintenance & user PoV….

Real gem of a car my ecosport has done 1,85,000 i have been to world highest motorable road last umlingala I have not changed any thing apart from regular service I have changed only front shocks, tyre, and clutch plate.

While driving this steering gives you pretty smooth and you can easily bring it through small roads when compared to other sub 4m suvs

I am ex owner of Ecosport. Its a fantastic car. I was waiting for Ford to provide a proper upgrade to Ecosport. Unfortunately I had to sell and bought Jeep Compass since Ford exited and i didnt want to take a chance. There is no replacement for Ecosport at that price point.

Unbiased review. All small points both positives and negatives covered exhaustively. I have (had) two Ecosport 1.5 TDCi Titanium Diesel... The first one was lost in 2015 Chennai floods..so bought another in 2016...very reliable work horse and absolute joy in high ways... With minimal maintenance cost

Eco sport has a timeless design.. Even now it looks fresh with so much of competition cars in sub 4m.. None other has this tough look and elegance

l own a 2015 titanium option - 1.5 diesel, having completed 80000 kms over the 8 1/2 yrs. Whatever you have mentioned up there in the review is fully endorsed by me after having owned the vehicle all these years, especially the sturdy and planted feel, the precise feel of the steering wheel, adequate power for a reasonably heavy body, the firm suspension which l feel is a very important feature for an SUV especially while driving on highways at high speeds. The ESP, ABD, the 6 airbags and alloy wheels 16", with good bolstered leather seats and a chunky steering wheel are something l value in this car. As mentioned, l would be glad to upgrade to another car at this juncture, but there are none in the market which could match up to this Ford model. No owners of this car would part ways with it as it is a very reliable and sturdy drivers car.

Iam also a ford lover from ikon i drive the ford vehicle’s and atlast i have a ford ecosport and i drove around 65k in 2 years and now sold it because of the harder clutch its a gem. Their customer support is also very good when i owned a freestyle it has some bs6 issues and drive it around 10k kilometers then the ford customer care call me and refund my car vehicle and taken back that was such a nice experience for me then i go and buy ecosport because of the super customer support no one in the indian market didn’t do like that that is ford . We miss u ford❤️

I’ve have to say at least now bro. When I was looking for 2nd Hand cars with no idea on which Sub 4m to choose, randomly came across video of this ecosports yu posted when it was brought newly. Believe I just got impressed as such and started to search only for Ecosports that too 2018 TDCI BS4 . Luckily got one Jan 2018 that has Odo clocked 30K at fair deal and I drove around 3K kms in just one month. Feeling proud that I made good choices after watching ur review on ford cars. Way to go. Thought of meeting at AutoExpo but unfortunately missed and Wishing to meet you at least once and wanna thank for guiding us with clear details ❤

I have petrol AT. Its very joyful to drive. It gives fuel Ave 13.5 consider maintain 70 to 100km. I was driving three days in kodaikanal mountain including around 30km off road climbing and it gives fuel ave 10.7km. and also never hesitate to climbing the dragon engine and AT combo. Enjoying every min of driving. The real juice of steering control can enjoy in mountain. Thanks for the video team.

Ford tdci is like riding a horse..it will obey the rider rule Positive 1. Top notch safety 2. Heavy load of stability 3. Less maintenance even for tdci 4. Powerful engine 5. diesel engine NVH is 100% satisfied engine rumble noise will not come in to cabin at all. 6.turbo will make you a feel of roller coaster ride Negative 1. Hard clutch will make problem for driver while driving esp bumper to bumper traffic, leg calf to thigh pain will be there ..even driver couldn't walk in stairs i experienced it . 2. I belive bs6 model clutch is so light not heavy hard as bs4. 2. Bs4 tdci is powerful than bs6 Ecosport S editon tdci - blue and race red are eye catching colors

I have venue diesel, I too feel the same, stiff suspension is the only negative point in this category. When driven in bad roads for long distance creating neck pain. Any way we can reduce the stiffness?? In terms of mileage i agree with you it is giving 19 kmpl but using cruise control i am getting 21 kmpl when the cruise speed is set at 110 km/h.. I felt using cruise control is more efficient than manual throttle. Thank you!😊

My car is about to 3 yrs old and 30k kms done. My clutch is not that much hard. It’s still smooth only.. might be my driving style doesnt affect the clutch stiffness.. only issue i face frm my passengers are stiff suspension. But it they drive it they understand why its stiff..

Had a good experience in Ecosport as well as in WRV. I would say Ecosport offers a much spacious second row when compared to WRV. Second row Headroom in WRV is quite cramped due to its smaller design. But both the cars gave me a good travel experience.
