I change rear tire and give my opinion of the "Motoz Tractionator GPS". I also talk about the difficulty of finding bike maintenance during popular riding seasons.
Living full time on my “BMW F850GS” Adventure bike; just traveling, exploring, enjoying life, and seeking my next adventure…
#1 Left Adventures, with Chad.

Personally, I think you do a great job. We're talking motorcycles here. We don't need glitz and groovy graphics. I look for another rider's experience, perspective and ideas. You deliver. Thanks. Keep it up.

I've been an HD guy for 50 years. Added a 2020 1250GSA to the stable I. 2020. My biggest bitch is what you just said. Lack of availability to get maintenance performed. Especially on the road. Having to wait a month for preventive maintenance is ridiculous. Not sure if I'll stick with BMW after I wear this one out. Plus, our local dealership charges $195 an hour in Charlotte, NC. I drive over two hours away to a different dealership just for that reason. BMW needs to do like HD and give priority to a traveling rider. Great job on the video.

Man, I couldn’t agree more! I’ve since gotten a 1250 GS also. I’ve been doing my own maintenance on this one. Even if it’s in a Walmart parking lot. I’ve also owned several HD’s in my time. I love all bikes. Gotta say though that these GS bikes are my favorite. 👍

I had an ADV instructor tell me about these 5 or 6 years ago. He said they pull through anything and stay around 20,000 km. It'll do what you need it to do. For the big heavy bikes, it's the best, "Idk where I'm going" kind of tire. Hands down.

Although once while I was riding in Florida, I noticed the nobs were separating from the tire!! I panicked. But I replaced it with the same thing. Not a problem after. I’ve since used many different tires. I’m still unsure of what I’ll use next. They all have pros and cons. Just depends on where you ride…. Good luck and thank you for following my channel.

Thanks David. I actually thought about reviewing my bike. What I like and don’t like about it and the mods I’ve done. So far no major issues, but a few annoying ones. Like my shift assist (power shifter) sometimes stops working and I have to unplug it and plug it back. It seems to reset it and it works for a while longer. But it’s a consistent issue. I’ll take your advice and do a video about all that. Right now I’m in Maine. I’ll see about doing that one in the next few weeks. Safe riding and exciting adventures. Chad.

This is the first video of yours that I've come across, but I hope you continue to do them on occasion, since for me anyway this is a very useful video. I just bought a 1250GS after being a longtime GoldWing rider (still have the GoldWing, not that it matters), and my plan is to ride around New Mexico (BDR, CDT, etc) as often as possible. Trying to get smart on tires and it sure sounds like you like the Motoz Tractionator GPS, so I may give that one a try, so I can get out there and start practicing!! Thanks for taking the time to do videos, and please consider doing more, since you're a lot better at it than I think you give yourself credit for!!!

Jim, thank you! I’ve not done any in a long time. I’ve been traveling and had many experiences that I should have shared, but I just feel that it’s not my thing. Hey, I was a long time Harley guy and I understand your needs. Adventure bikes are a new way of life. I’ve ridden enduro my whole life, so I know that thrill well. My advice is to just do it. It’s addictive and a rush. Just be safe and learn as you go. I wish you the best. Chad.

Had the GPS on my 2015 Tiger 800, great tire. Got many miles on them, they worked great off and on road. I don't really do off road anymore on it, so I switched them out with a bit more of a street tire. I do have a 690 R and I'm thinking about putting a GPS on the back, I do off road on the 690, but I do cover quite a few street miles going to different places out here in the desert. Great review and a great tire...thanks.

I’m happy with them so far. My front still has good tread, but is getting louder by the mile. I’m guessing you are in the southwest with the desert comment. I sorta felt like when I lived in west Texas, the heat and roads had a lot to do with quick wear on my other tires. It makes me feel better that you’ve had success with them even living in the desert! Thanks. 👍

Oh, so sad to hear this is going to be the last video... :( well I encourage you to keep on doing them. Better than feeling like nervous with your partner, better encourage him/her to take the camera/phone and take some cinematic footage from the passenger view, fast no one does that because we usually ride solo, but who knows, this could be a nice angle and your channel could benefit from that. Also what we always appreciate is, not only the road conditions but low budget hotels, food etc 😉

Ratchet strap! Right on to that, thanks for a very handy new thing. Really enjoyed your straight forward way and description here. Hope Maine was a great time, that's where I go a lot, I'm just above in NB, Canada. You should cross over: I can guarantee the roads you'll find across southern NB are going to be excellent riding times.

I recently put a set of the Motoz Tractionator GPS on my 24 Honda Transalp. Must say they are an excellent tire both off road and on road. However, they are so hard the bike was no longer smooth on the road. Since I felt every bump in the road, especially in the rear, I have replaced the rear tire with softer Dunlop Trailmax Mission Raid

Not sure if you're STILL using those tires after two years, but if so, I'm curious what pressures you're using to get that kind of mileage?
