What I heard was that he strained or sprained his MCL a couple of days before and it wasn't healed by the competition. If you watch his face (especially when he's doing moves) you can tell he's in pain. He still deserves props for not backing down cause of an injury.

I've seen Domkey perform so much better than this. He's in fact one of my favorite bboys but Mounir did pretty good here too.

i dunno if this battle was good cause the cameras missed most of it. thanks for showing the person not dancing, a person in the crowd video taping, and zooming in so close on the person dancing that we cant see anything...

You see Domkey winning lots of events in his homeland, but he rarely comes out to the international scene. Theres a whole different energy in the international scene, one that Mounir is already accustomed to. Thats why Roxrite and Mounir have already won. They're at a level acquired by the constant experience and scenes they've been exposed to. I love Domkey but for him to crack himself into a world level, he needs to be in more French and European events in general. Just my personal thought.

I completely agree (from what was shown anyways...), I feel like Domkey was nervous and a tiny bit unprepared for such a huge event, he just tried to throw out his most difficult and impressive sets instead of really vibing to the music like he always does, Mounir was vicious.

The person recording the battle probably has a better angle than the actual recording of the event. These people behind the redbull recordings are all on crack or somthing during this event. I mean did you see the whole event? the camera guys are all over the place, its almost hilarious.

Domkey actually has some of the best most creative sets. Ever. And he does some really kinky session work. Like standing still front straddle flips and shit. Stuff no one else is doing. If he can embrace that side. He can win. Fuck, he didn't look bad here.

rofl. Absolutely horrible camera work. During a set you want to watch the whole body of the breaker in one unbroken cut. But they went all over the place. Zooming in on his head, zooming in on the resting bboy, zooming in on someone holding a camera in the crowd... WHILE the bboy is breaking. this isn't an art film, it's a bloody breaking battle.
